Have you ever been somewhere where "everything" is great? That's Goldstein's Prime on Collins Ave. Small, privately owned and well cared-for market with excellent quality. Best pastrami ever, super lean, corned beef, turkey, and more. Roast whole chickens and home-made soups are also really great. Their cole slaw is really unique, sliced super thin on a slicer. Cucumber salad, plus a half-sour pickle on the side (the bright green ones). Friendly service, Goldstein's is a gem in the neighborhood.

17 bucks for brisket 50 cent looking chips and a can soda. Really? The sandwich wasnt even good. The best part of the meal was the bread and the pickle. There website says 9.95 for a brisket sandwich so how does it get up to 17 bucks?

Shana Tovah to my tribe out there. May you have a sweet New Year and may all our dreams come true. And for my #Miami friends, you can get precooked food, like whole chickens, pastrami sandwiches, great pickles, potato salad and coleslaw etc there and take it the beach for lunch. Old school deli and butcher. The owner wants the best for his costumers. He has a great selection of meats. As well as a full showcase of deli and prepared items . Great rotisserie chicken. Fresh oven baked turkey breast. The prices are on the high side but they are kosher and in Miami Beach.
Did I forget to mention they have been there for over 30 years.

I was passing by @5:30pm and saw the big sign for soups since I didn't eat all day waiting for my sister to come out from surgery. I wanted to know where I could get her soups even for the next days. I am also pregnant so a soup would have been good for me as well. I was checking their hours and it said they close at 6pm, the lights were off but all of the sudden a guy came to open the door for me and told me to get in and asked me what did I need. He also told me they don't usually do that and he showed me his friend as the owner and apologized they were drinking beer. As soon as I

We went looking for a traditional butcher in the neighborhood; however, we were slightly underwhelmed. The meat cases were a little empty and the service was slow. We ordered NY strips, a Frenched crown roast of lamb, and a couple of sandwiches. The listed price for the lunch sandwiches (pastrami and corned beef) on the window was $9.99 with drink etc.; however, we were charged $15.95. That was a shocker, but nothing like the lamb...I'm not sure how much of a kosher mark-up exists, but we found a similar rack at a competing butcher on the same day for $40 cheaper. Finally, our NY strips

The pastrami is so fresh, it melts in your mouth and the sliced turkey is real turkey, no additives. The owner, Brian is a sweetheart and helped me with choosing between meats to make kasha vernishkes with beef chunks, a traditional dish I grew up with that as soon as I walked in and saw the place I knew I wanted to make (and they had all the ingredients I needed) and they have the mustard and Ba-Tampte kosher dill pickles to die for. I felt at home in this place and welcome. This is a must frequent place.

This place is great! Owner seems so familiar, turns out... His business has been here since the 80s or 90s. I remember walking into his deli when my great aunt walked around North Beach with me.
The food is great! I will come here on my days off.
The pictures can speak for itself. Mr. Goldstein and his employees are wonderful/kind people.
FYI, you will not get a cheeseburger here. So just ask for extra veggies. 😁
For those giving this place under 4 stars, stop being picky. This place is great! I'm not saying this because I'm a regular... It is because of work ethic. 😁

The most amazing pastrami and corned beef sandwich on rye that I have ever had outside of great neck and Brooklyn New York. Jane and the other people working there are very friendly, accommodating and really nice.
I give this place, their food, and their service a major comes up, for anybody in or near the South Beach area or even anywhere else that just wants to come and have an authentic Kosher, deli sandwich

I've been going to this butcher since before I can remember; my dad used to take me and my sister in with him when we were little, 20+ years ago. This is a fantastic family-owned place, and they want to make sure you are a satisfied customer. They help you find what you're looking for, make excellent recommendations, and add a personal touch to everything they do. I have never been disappointed with Goldstein's and I've been a devoted customer for a very long time.

Goldstein's is not too convenient for me as it is a good distance from where I live and work, but it is definitely worth the drive. I have yet to taste anything I was not absolutely pleased with. If I had to pick one, I would say their rugelach is my weakness. Because of this weakness, I try my hardest to stay out of the bakery, although I'm usually not too successful. Luckily, I can occupy myself with my shopping and the food in the deli. Ordering one of their dinner packages makes dinner a breeze for me. I usually order a pastrami on rye to take to work the next day too. If you haven

I ordered a small bowl of soup and they charged me almost 7 dollars! For some reason they think that microwaving some frozen soup and serving it up in styrofoam that they should be able to charge double. Also, there were no vegetables at all, not even a few carrots or celery, just a huge matzo ball that I had to cut up with a plastic fork. It was edible, which is why I give it 2 stars, but nothing close to my grandmother's soup and way overpriced. I feel a little cheated. Also, using styrofoam is lame. Don't they care at all about the environment? Please think about using biodegradable

This is a review of the bakery portion of this establishment. I have not shopped at the grocery store/deli.
This kosher bakery is superb. The rye bread is delicious and can be purchased in portions of a loaf. The price per pound is lower than other bakeries. The cookies--rugelach in particular--are fantastic. Again, the price is also good at $8/lb. The poppy seed cake and babkas are also very good. In short, this is a superb Jewish bakery with a bilingual staff (English/Spanish).
