I got my car towed to this shop on a Monday because my car wasn’t going into drive or reverse. So, I thought it was a transmission problem. The owner told me that one of his guys called out of work so he wouldn’t be able to start working on my car until Tuesday morning . I told him that was fine! Brought in my vehicle for what I thought was a transmission issue. I had a shutter, knocking, clanking, rubbing, hard drops when switching drives sometime etc. They were able to accurately diagnose the problem (actually the driveshaft) and fix the issue at a much lower cost than I would have had to spend if a less experienced or a shady mechanic went with my thoughts on a transmission issue. After the repair, i got a coupon for a free oil change, free car wash and a coffee travel mug. Only complaint was that it took a little longer for them to work on my vehicle than I was expecting by a few day

The transmission in my wife’s 2012 Honda van went completely out. I searched many shops in the area getting price quotes for a replacement/rebuilt transmission. I would like to say that I recommend for anyone needing transmission repair to give ascension transmission a call. I am very satisfied with their work.
