As State licensed assisted living facility offering levels 1, 2 and 3 care, we will do what we can to provide the most caring and loving home for seniors. We value open communication throughout our organization and we continually seek to improve through ideas and feedback from residents, family members, our staff and healthcare professionals.
Greenway Manor and ECAL (Ellicott City Assisted Living) exists to bring honor and glory to God by looking after and caring for our elderly. Whether it's helping with the little things of daily life as a senior or a high degree of attention and care - our work always focuses on the people who need attention and care. They are entitled to a life under decent conditions and adapted to their lifestyle habits. Esteem, respect, understanding and sensitivity all shape how our qualified and dedicated staff deal with residents, thus creating a trusting and personal relationship.
We cater to the individual in every way, including diet preferences, religious practices, sleeping habits as well as addressing important medical and physical needs. We empower our seniors by respecting their right to make decisions. We nurture the spirit as well as the body. Our rooms are fully furnished according to each residents needs and assisted living standards.
We also offer short-term respite care. These needs may be for rehabilitation, short-term stays for families or caregivers needing a break or taking a trip, and for those needing care assistance or social involvements during the day. Am and Scott Taylor and the staff at Greenway Manor provided top notch care for my mother. We found Pam and Scott through Care Patrol and were impressed with them from the start when we toured the sister assisted living facility, Ellicott City Assisted Living. Greenway Manor is a converted rancher nestled in a cozy neighborhood in Ellicott City.
When you walked in, it did not feel like a nursing home, but rather … home. The Taylors understood the residents, and went out of their way to make them feel comfortable. They would do little things for my mother like picking up some chocolate treats

My mother was living with my brother when she had dementia. She needed more care than he could provide. We found Greenway Manor just after they opened. They took great care of her for 4 1/2 years in a home-like setting until she passed away in 2013. In 2017 my brother needed assisted living. They again took great care of him until he passed away in June. Very caring staff! Highly recommend.

If you are looking for an assisted living facility to care for a family member you could do no better than Greenway Manor. It was recommended by a friend who's mother was resident. I visited and was pleased with the care , friendliness , and how clean the staff maintained the home. The price was more than reasonable for the level of care.

Pam and her staff are terrific! They really know the needs and the likes and dislikes of the people they care for. Very caring, clean and easily accessible home. My mother received great care and was able to live out the last several years of her life there without going into a nursing home. As a registered nurse it was important to me be be able to keep my mother out of the nursing home and in a “home like setting”. Greenway Manor was able to make that happen for us as we were not able to bring my mother to our own home.

Thank goodness for the caring staff at Greenway Manor. They were kind, gentle, and considerate at every stage during the progression of my father-in-laws dementia. Our family feels very fortunate to have had Pam & her staff help us during a difficult time and we appreciate their dedication to our loved one.
