James focuses his practice on real estate and bankruptcy related matters, bringing his years of legal experience from both the public and private sector to better serve his clients. James received his bachelor of arts in business and economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his juris doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.

Just based on that frustration I had to call someone and I googled Jay here and he helped me. Disclaimer -- he asked me to leave him a review when he was done with the case but didn't pressure me or anything and just asked me be honest.

I was given this law firm's information by a insurance claim I have. Jay had good reviews on their system and I called him after seeing his reviews on Google. My work insurance referred me here. Because of covid I never met the lawyer but worked with him over phone and email. It was very easy, I hate going into offices and dealing with parking. No DocuSign option which I didn't like but that's okay I think it's because of the legal documents. Recommended.

I got into a pretty bad crash and I got Jay's number from a friend. I was in a car accident before so I knew I had to get a lawyer. I was so thankful at how easy Jay made the entire process. I didn't even have to drive down to his office which saved me so much time. Jay's willingness to get things done over email and phone, and even offering to be available via videochat, was something I had not expected. This review is long overdue. I was introduced to James and Jay through my friend because I needed to find my parents an attorney for their estate planning. Me and my parents were able to meet with both of the attorneys for our initial consultation where they spent over an hour going over estate concepts. Jay eventually took over my parents case and walked them through extremely difficult choices. My parents in the end opened a living trust and helped us make the necessary power of attorneys for future estate planning. What I appreciated most is James and Jay's focus on customer service

I got a call from James regarding my car accident within 24 hours of submitting an inquiry on his website. I didn't think that I would need an attorney in the beginning because the other driver admitted fault on the scene but I'm so glad I ended up obtaining his service because I would not have known about some of the coverage that I was supposed to receive. My case is still ongoing but I wanted to say thank you to James for his excellent customer service and his attention to details.

I couldn't continue dealing with all the calls with insurance companies from my car accident. My friend told me about a lawyer she used so I called James and from the very first call he got everything he needed and I didn't have to do anything more. I called Jay at Yu & Yu after I was injured falling at a major grocery store. The store took a report and I thought they would pay my medical bills but I never heard from them. Jay listened as I explained what happened and was very patient. He gave me some great advice and went over the different options I had. He was obviously intelligent and friendly, and didn't try to persuade me to his benefit.
