We started working with this doctor a little more than a year ago. My 17-year-old son has depression/anxiety and slow processing speed. That is what we think, at least. I told the doctor what my son has; but I thought Dr. Danielyan was going to do his own work to come up with a diagnosis. On the first session he just gave us a questionnaire to rank symptoms. He asked a few questions and told me he needed permission from my son's father to medicate our son. I got it for him.
The whole experience was disappointing as just filling in a questionnaire about how sad you feel does not explore

This is a "check-the-boxes" psychiatrist. If it isn't on the check-list, he seems at a loss. Dr. D either missed or did not remember or include in his notes some very pertinent information shared with him during an appt by myself and also my son. The same information came up again later and rather than acknowledging he missed it, he said we didn't tell him. And that was that. If you're looking for some bed-side manner, there are a number of psychiatrists in the area who are wonderful. We made the move to one and my son feels seen and heard. So do I.

I first consulted Dr. Danielyan in seeking insight for adult ADHD. Our first consultation was immediately helpful--his professional knowledge as well as his personal attentiveness and empathy clarified much of my situation. I felt that I was given much-needed illumination into myself, and that I could take steps forward thereafter. In terms of medication, he didn't simply point me towards a prescription, but provided details into pros/cons and answered any questions I had, which alleviated some anxiety I had towards it. I highly recommend him!

I'm the second child (or grown man...) in my family that has greatly benefitted from Dr. Danielyan's psychiatric care and supervision. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, he's able to passionately sympathize and assist with one's needs, while adequately configuring a straightforward method of individualized treatment for them. When talking medication, he does not rush you to make a decision with it, nor does he get impatient if you have questions; he carefully lays out the options and gingerly explains each perk for every pill. Same goes for plans for psychotherapy and

Dr. Danielyan has been seeing my high school teen for about two years now, and he has been very helpful in addressing depression, anxiety and attention issues for my teen. Dr. Danielyan listens to my teen, is calm and explains options clearly, and involves both me and my teen in any final decisions.
Nan always calls and emails reminders for appointments and both Nan and Dr. Danielyan are very responsive to emails.
I highly recommend Dr. Danielyan.

I would highly recommend Dr. Danielyan. He always takes his time during appointments to make sure that all issues are addressed thoroughly, even if this means going beyond the appointment's time allotment.

Dr. Danielyan is clearly most concerned for the patient's well-being, as he genuinely cares about my issues and talks to me about the best options, weighing the pros and cons of different treatment options. He is very personable and knowledgeable but never comes off as condescending like some other doctors.

Scheduling is easy, through Dr. Danielyan's assistant, Nan, and Dr. Danielyan

I found Dr Danielyan after a serious medication reaction required emergency treatment. He was the first to squeeze me in for an appointment.

'Nan' looks after appointments and is really helpful and kind. Dr D listens, gives options (with pros and cons) and involves me in the decision effecting my health.

He's always been accessible by email or phone for questions and appointments feel like sitting down with a really smart guy without the ego - helping me get more out of life.

Dr D has always been calm, attentive and I never feel rushed. He's very knowledgeable and makes

Dr. Danielyan, helped us out tremendously with dealing with our child that has ADHD. We had a tough period with the school due to my son not being in control and we didnt have a clue to resolving the issue. he discussed our options and to this day, we can't thank him enough for helping us find a solution. Our son is now in first grade and he is doing amazing in school, top in his class. He can know focus on school and he enjoys it. I can highly recommend him for families that are dealing with their children that might have ADHD. It is tough thing to deal with alone.
