David Michael, a co-owner, cut my hair very well. I've lived here for more than 10 years and this is the best experience since I've been here. I've been to about 6or 8 establishments in that time. Kim is absolutely the most experienced and up to date beautician. She is up to date on the newest trends regarding color and cuts. I have been going to Kim for 4 years now. She is dependable and reasonably priced.
Shine is a newer shop and is always clean. The gowns are always clean for every client and everyone is required to wear masks.

Last week, I had my hair done by David Michael Greb. First time in a salon since February. Prior to setting up my appointment, I asked David Michael what precautions the salon has taken (due to health reasons). What he told me made me feel comfortable, so I set up an appointment. I was impressed with ALL of the precautions, masks & sanitizing put in place by Shine Hair Design Studio owners David Michael & Mamie, along with staff. Clients/staff were all wearing masks. The salon is beautiful and classy in every way. I think this is the absolute best place to get wonderful haircuts and color. The stylists are wonderful (my personal favorite of over 20 years is David Michael). One of the things that makes this studio so special is the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. You can tell how well everyone gets and respects one another, and it just makes your whole experience peaceful and refreshing. Of course they have all the amenities that any high end studio has, but the ambiance created by the professionals is simply stellar.
