At Edge Studio, we have long believed in building a thriving community around the art of voice over, and our programs are centered around making you a part of that community. We believe that live instruction is more valuable than pre-recorded videos. We believe that students should be able to train and work in VO from anywhere in the world, even from home.
We live and breathe virtually every conceivable aspect of the voice over industry, and we have a world-renowned team of voice over experts who oversee each part of your training. This makes it easy for our team to pool resources and create the most wide-ranging education center, with the most successful students.
We believe everyone should sound great. That's why we create outstanding voice over tracks for your listeners. But we also care about what you believe, which is why our team passionately ensures your experience goes smoothly and efficiently. Big or small project, tell us what you need and when. Then sit back or participate.
The voice over industry has evolved over the years, and technology has played a central role in that. At Edge Studio, our entire curriculum can be accessed from the comfort of your own home on a computer, mobile device or tablet. We have successful students who have trained with us from all over the globe.
As we mentioned before, Edge has the most comprehensive and robust voice over training program out there, and we are proud of the accomplishments of our graduates. There are certainly individuals and training programs out there who will take your money and give you a substandard education. Others are simply too inexperienced or inept to offer the quality of training that we have at Edge Studio.

I took the Edge Introduction to Voice Over. It was an awesome experience. I learned so much, and my one-on-one sessions were amazing!

Edge Studios ....before even meeting these voice pros in February, they had already taught me so much on-line with their sample scripts...for most of us in Voice, turning our talent into a business requires guidance and Edge Studio is who I've chosen to help achieve this. I can't wait to get started...♡

Had a very fun intro to voiceover class with my best friend. Our instructor was positive and honest, friendly and informative. However, the pricing structure of the studio, despite offering what appears to be excellent services, is cost-prohibitive for those of middle and lower incomes.

This is a great place to get an education in voice acting. I've been working with them for about a year, and it definitely takes an investment in time and money, but if you're serious about learning to be a voice actor I would really recommend this studio to anyone. I just got my demo back from production and they did a top notch job at making it sound professional.

This review addresses two different aspects of Edge Studio.
1. I would originally rate their book Performance guide book a 3 star. I don't know how their voice coaching works in real, but a guide book with no audio examples when what you are imparting as lessons is superiorly audio, did not simple make sense to me. So in a way, I felt that $30 USD is kind of waste of my money.
2. My one star is a result of this. Email communication requesting a change in their original receipt, which does not mention whether $30 is a USD or any dollar currency on earth, did not ultimately end up as a success

When I first began exploring voiceover as a second career, I looked into a number of firms offering VO instruction. I selected Edge, and have never looked back. Edge's instruction is state-of-the-art, geared toward the current market and focused on giving you all the tools you need to succeed. Its coaches are phenomenal. I've had the pleasure of working one-on-one with several of them, including Danielle Quisenberry, Tom Dheere and Johnny Heller. They are incredibly knowledgeable, up-to-date on contemporary trends and, what I really liked, is that they are practical. Having worked

So potential voice talent beware, my first encounter was and is my last! It appears there are quite a few of these studios or educational opportunities (so called schools?). I paid an amount to participate in a webinar..Unfortunately had a family emergency. I tried to call and cancel or reschedule. And here is where the BS comes in ..blah blah blah but for more money I could reschedule???
There policy isn't very friendly not even a little. I would skip this place there more about money then actually helping folks! Good luck... and sharing an opinion is just that, though they considered it

So my first encounter with Edge Studios will be my last. Its unfortunate that companies put money first, though if $25 rescheduling fee means that much so be it! My brief encounter had to do with a family emergency. I couldn't make the webinar I was scheduled and paid for.
Pursuant to calling and attempted emails. I was told they don't work Sundays? I was attempting to be pro-active..blah, blah, blah I'll I can say is potential student or customer be-ware! As a small business owner myself I value the reviews and my customers.
And so a review is one sharing his or her experience...good, bad or

Best decision of my life to start my voice over education with them. They treat each student and client like family, and I’ve learned more there than I could ever learn anywhere else.

The best, plain and simple. Everyone else is a coach, but Edge is a school. I wish they'd been around when I started in the business, but their amazing and huge staff has been a part of my ongoing efforts to continue to improve my craft and expand my repertoire. Whenever I'm asked where to study, where to get a demo made, my answer has always been Edge.

That is in no way a slight against Chuck Duran, J. Michael Collins or the countless other excellent coaches and producers out there. But if you're at the point where you're asking, Edge is always the answer. They have experts

Overall I got very good feedback from the evaluations when I attended the Investigate voiceover & 3 of the private sessions, but they basically judge you by how you sound in order to take a class with them. I kept getting that I sounded nasally and that it might get in the way of me being marketable. I'm currently taking voiceover classes now at another studio and they train differently. Their method is that if you focus on how you sound your gonna make it worse for yourself. That actually helped me more because I'm more focused on translating the script instead of listening to how

I'm a motion designer, and booked Edge for a voiceover--their tech did a fantastic job and were very efficient with the time we had booked. Their customer service booking the date was very patient with our group coordinating schedules. I'll definitely be using them for future projects!

The studio is a wonderful positive environment, with happy smiling people who happen to be extremely professional as it is a full fledged studio.........however why lead someone on in thinking they have a good voice over voice, meanwhile siphoning your wallet/purse DRY. Making promises leading the person on, oh you need more of this and less of that.......the money runs out and OH! We don't have to smile for you anymore! Take a walk! 😘

Edge Studio is awesome. As a newer VO instead of spending hundreds to thousands of dollars you can take a 4 hour class where you learn some VO basics and get to go into the studio and record. They will let you know if you have a shot at this business or not. When you are part of their learning programs you are getting amazing value, and a great list of coaches to work with that are working VO professionals, and know the business well. I am working with them now on my third demo and I was able to become a full time VO over the last year with the foundation they have given me. I book VO jobs regularly

If you take the class for $99.00, it's really more of an audition than a training session. But it's an audition you have to pay for. If you don't sound like you are marketable (for them, I assume), then they tell you so. If you want, you can try again with a 1 on 1 session, but that costs another $140.00. So, unless you have the kind of voice they are looking for, you may end up spending $239.00, without even taking a single lesson. Plus, if you do sign up, you will spend about $2000.00 (at least) for their training.

If you are a beginner, it's probably better to take voice

A very personalized and professional Voice over studio in NYC next to Times Square. Had tried out their intro class which ran me $99 to get categorized and informed if Voice Acting was for me. After being told information, I followed up to find out that I was accepted into their ABC program (invite Only). They staff are extremely knowledgeable and take time to explore your talents. If you are serious about trying to become a VA, this studio/ training school offers a lot of potential.
Their script library allows you to see different genres of VO from Commercial to Animation, Business and kids stuff

I attended the 4 hour introductory workshop at Edge Studio last week and was very impressed with the facility as well as with the young woman who ran the workshop. She was extremely knowledgeable of the voice over business and made the 8 of us feel very welcomed and comfortable. I especially like the fact that we were given time in the recording booth and given critical analysis of our voice over potential. As a result, I signed up for the full training and look forward to the classes.

I attended the private evaluation and received a pretty good evaluation from the instructor. Then, the instructor told me she knew somebody that can do training for me and the staff at Edge studio will contact that specific instructor for me. So i waited .....then a month later someone at the Edge studio called me and said they are working with the instructor on the pricing since that instructor is not part of the "crew" and then i waited for ....NOTHING

They gave me a HOPE and that was it. I was stupid enough to trust them. Please don't waste your time and money.

I was suckered into getting the training. I went to their evaluation class, and the woman repeatedly stated that i had talent, and that I should sign up.
It was clear after I spent the 2,000 to work on my voice over skills I did not have any talent that would help me get any work in the field.
BEWARE! They are as aggressive as the fly-by-nighters in getting you to part with your money. I wasted all that money on some hype. They come accross as being objective, but that was just to get me to ease up on my reservations. I went to another voice over teacher to see why i was having difficulties,

I work for a prominent television company in LA that schedules VO sessions for talent all over the country. While Anne was pleasant during booking, that's the only nice thing I can say about this studio. She confused the day that I had scheduled the session, sending me a frantic email in the morning of the wrong day causing me to panic that I had incorrectly booked the session. Then when our talent could no longer make the session (completely out of our control) and we cancelled 20 hours in advance, they insisted on charging us for the full price (almost $400!) even though no services were

(My first review as an Elite Yelper!)

I've heard from friends enough times that I have a good voice and should look into voice acting, so after googling a few places, I decided to give Edge Studio a try.

It's located on the 10th floor and it's very clean and quiet when I walked in. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcomed as soon walk in.

They have a 4 hour voice-over evaluation workshop that costs $127 (but I got it during a sale for $99), and you're with 9 other people. You go through techniques with your evaluator and ask them any questions you may
