First, I love that Meldrum Mortuary is family-owned, as there are few remaining in the area. Everyone we interacted with was kind, sympathetic, and patient. They truly went above and beyond during a very difficult time for my family. Meldrum made a truly sad occasion so easy to get thru. There establishment is so welcoming and clean. The Chapel is beautiful. Im so happy that we choose them for my Mom's Memorial Service. Our family's have only used Meldrum's Mortuary for 60+ years, through many remodels and ownerships. My parents, my brother, several Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and now my sister. They are the only ones we will ever use for our loved ones. Professionals in every detail. I am in our generation that is now passing on and will be requiring their services.

My husband and I came into Meldrum's office 4 years ago to set up our future burial arrangements. At that time we were treated with respect and friendly professionalism. All options/costs were clearly explained and we were very happy with their help and offerings. In May of this year my husband passed away. I can't speak highly enough about how kind and efficient Meldrum's performed their services. Hospice called Meldrum's and they sent two kind and efficient young men to pick up my husband's body within the hour. Since it was during COVID-19 they were masked and careful. There is enough pain when we experience loss of loved ones, we don't need any extra pain in the process of final arrangements. Many places that I called for funeral info, didn't act interested in listening to my requests, since I wasn't able to purchase the most expensive plan. Yet, a couple of them acted as if they would help me through the process, but failed to return messages to keep the communication going. In fact several finally called back way after mother was already buried.

I am from out of town, so I had to shop around by phone for funeral services as my family member was nearing the end. I contacted many other places and they were either very pricey or didn't get back to me. Meldrum worked with our tight budget, but didn't skimp on service. They were compassionate and understanding all along the way. I have recommended them to other family members wanting to prepare. When they came to get the body, my sister-in-law turned to me and said, "These are the type of people I would like to have around when I am dealing with the death of a loved one.

My husband already gave a review but I felt like I needed to add my thoughts also. I can't say enough about the staff at Meldrum's. From the very first meeting with them we felt their sincere compassion for our family at a very difficult time. They went out of their way to help us with every detail regarding our son. We brought our grandchildren on one of our visits to Meldrum's. They were so kind to them and took the time to answer every question they had about their dad. It meant so much to us all. I am so glad that I chose Meldrum Mortuary for my father's memorial because they are well organized and the staff is very friendly. They made a beautiful tribute video from some pictures that I sent in, I will charish it forever. The pamphlet they created to pass out at the memorial was also beautiful and flawless. I could not be more pleased with Meldrum Mortuary and all that they did to assist us with everything!

Everything about my experience with Meldrum Mortuary was exceptional. Jaren was the easiest person to deal with and so kind and compassionate. His gentle manner was so comforting given all the emotions I was going through with the loss of my father. I will be forever grateful for this. Everyone was courteous and followed up when promised. They were prompt in handling each step along the way and kept me informed throughout. I really appreciated their high level of customer care.
