Adamson Pump & Drilling Inc. is a locally owned and operated company dedicated to serving the citizens of Canyon County and neighboring counties. We offer full service well construction. This includes well drilling, well construction, and well pump installation and service. We also provide important water quality testing.

We can service all of your residential water well service needs as well as irrigation well needs. My well gave out on Wednesday and I couldn't find anybody that could make it out. I got an appointment Thursday morning but that was canceled at the last minute. Adamson was able to make it out around 10:30am on Thursday to debug and was able to find that the pump was dead (and the control box was badly sized).
Services
Adamson Pump was started in the early 1950s by Cliff Adamson. The company was turned over to his son Dave Adamson in the early 1970s. Dave expanded the company and added drilling to their services to become Adamson Pump & Drilling Inc. Dave and all those working with Adamson Pump & Drilling Inc. offer honest and reliable service.
Adamson Pump & Drilling Inc. is your one stop water well construction company. We are honest and reliable. We will always be honest about what you need and not try to sell you on anything that is not necessary. Called office at noon, Jeremy and Steve were here around 1 and replaced 3 waterlogged pressure tanks, had the water back on and were gone by 3:00.
We complete all phases of well construction at Adamson Pump & Drilling. We make it an easy process by working on your project from start to finish. No need to work with multiple companies risking miscommunication about your project as well as different timelines. Here are the steps we will take to complete your well.
After your well has been constructed the next step is to install a water pump to access your water. We use high quality manufacturers, Franklin Electric and Grundfos pumps. We will help you select the right kind of pump for your needs. We can install an irrigation water pump and water pumps for wells that service your home.
Are you lacking water pressure or don't have any water flow at all? Do you have discolored well water? Is there rust in your well water? Before considering well abandonment and paying for a brand new well, let us look at it for you and see if we can save it. We do tests including water quality and chemistry testing to see if we can get you better quality water.

I really appreciate the folks at Adamson. They fit us into a busy schedule to install our well 8 years ago, and did the same when our well pump started having trouble. They’ve always been friendly, professional, and patient with all my questions. I highly recommend them!

Lost our well water on Saturday. Our first call was handled by the answering service who offered to either have the on call team come out or we could wait for Adamson's. We had water in our camper so decided to wait. Really glad we did. First thing Monday morning even before official open time we got a call from Deidre who confirmed they would be able to send the tech's out shortly. She did, they came within two hours and fixed our system. Great operation and very knowledgeable.

Deidre Ford the office manager is very very caring, compassionate and responsive to my situation. They have not committed to drilling but are looking at every option. It is so wonderful to have them care when so many drillers have just closed the door on helping. I thank them very much.
Their quote for a well is fantastic. Well ( pun intended) lol below my other quote. I appreciate them because they care.

I have used Adamson Drilling on a number of projects over the years. I have also used a number of his competitors and in my opinion Adamson is the best.

I recently called Adamson's Pump & Drilling Inc because we were having issues with a pump at a home. From the initial call the office staff was so professional. We needed a tech as soon as possible she went out of her way to try to get someone out the same day. The tech arrived on time and diagnosed the issue in a timely manner. The tech was so respectful of the property and did an amazing work. The price was affordable. I couldn't be happier with the experience that we had with the Adamson Pump & Drilling.

I’ve worked with Adamson Pump & Drilling professionally since 2002 —they’re one of the premier water well drillers in the Treasure Valley. Not only are they a great company, the owners are well respected in our community; just all around great people.
Additionally, my husband was employed by Adamson Pump & Drilling for 13 years. He was hired with no experience and was given the opportunity to grow into the company’s lead driller position in addition to the operation manager of the drilling side of the business. He was proud to work for a company that has had a great reputation for over

Avoid them. These guys severely lack in customer service & integrity. They don’t believe in trying to make things right when they didn’t do a job correctly the first time around. We recently built a new home & Adamson drilled our well & installed the pump. When they were drilling, we expressed our desires to the guy doing the drilling that we wanted to irrigate a larger yard, so we were hoping to get enough water to do so. They hit 20 gpm, 30 gpm & 50 gpm. The employee specifically said to us, I know you want more water, so we’ll go deeper. He did that & ended up getting 100gpm. We were thrilled

I would give two stars because, well, they showed up. However, I wish they hadn't, so, one star it is.
Called with a residential irrigation pump that won't hold a prime. They show up, I have the pump running, and I say, "OK, when I shut this off, even for a minute, it loses prime." We shut it off, they spend an hour or so confirming that it doesn't hold a prime. Run a plastic pipe down the well and run it again, and some sand comes up. After a while of cussing around with it, they tell me that there is no water in the well, and the pump is just pulling up sand. "Nothing we can do"
I've ran that

My well gave out on Wednesday and I couldn't find anybody that could make it out. I got an appointment Thursday morning but that was canceled at the last minute. Adamson was able to make it out around 10:30am on Thursday to debug and was able to find that the pump was dead (and the control box was badly sized). We had them replace the control box and well, as well as a pressure tank since we upgraded to a variable speed pump. They finished up by 3pm on Thursday. Very good service, nice guys and extremely friendly!
