I contacted Green Mouse via email for pick up service. Evelyn responded promptly to my email. I was able to set up a pick up time for the next day. We usually take our items to their drop-off facility, but we had some large items this time. Eduardo and Oscar arrived right on time. They were courteous, helpful and efficient. Thank you Green Mouse for providing such great service.

A good recycling center. The owner was friendly, and I got my CRT TV dropped off without incident. I've been there a few times over the years and it has always gone well. Be advised that they have moved, so don't just assume that Waze is going to send you to the right place (as I did).

We had 13 old laptops and wanted the hard and SD drives physically destroyed. Green Mouse charges only $10 per hard drive to remove the hard drive from the laptop, and crush it in a devise for that purpose. And you can watch so you know it's been unretrievably destroyed. It was great! Then they recycle every component of each laptop. They are the best. Just call ahead to set up a time and it couldn't be simpler. They are helping the environment. And so are you!!

I called and left a message asking to call me back so I could better understand their services. I usually expect a call back within a reasonable time frame. I know that I was lucky in that the stars aligned and I fielded a return call within minutes. The woman (I really should have gotten her name) who called me back was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. During this pandemic time, most businesses give excuses on why they can't do something, but this woman was anything but that. She was positive and cheerful and wanted to ensure that all of my questions were answered. She really carried

Great business run by super friendly people! They take most electronics for free and shred computer hard drives for a reasonable fee.

It has been a good time To empty out the saved electronics from the garage and closet. Greenmouse took the old chassis, disk drives, memory sticks and other loose hardware. The hours are good and the location by the airport works really well for me. I have had the occasion to use them twice so far and will use them again.

Had to fit rid of a flat screen TV that I just couldn't keep going anymore. One call to these guys, they told me where to drop it off and when I arrived they cheerfully took it and my fee, and I was on my way. Great to know this will be properly recycled instead of leaching pollutants.

If you're in the San Jose area and need something electronic ethically disposed of, these guys are great!

I'd been holding onto some old electronics for way too long. During SIP, I went through and collected old laptops and wires to recycle.

They've recently moved locations from the Race Street location to a Santa Clara address. It was easy to find. Staff was friendly and prompt. I am very glad this option exists to safely recycle old electronics.

Easy drop-off service; my obsolete 24-inch printer cost $20 but I expected to pay. Everything else they took no charge. Recommended

It's a large warehouse with organized piles for unwanted electronics, kind of impressive to see so many electronics at once!

Very nice and principled workers, just walk into the warehouse and someone will greet you. They prioritize saving electronics if they can (trying to stay green and reuse).

I was told green mouse was super easy and affordable via work word of mouth referral. I looked them up and yelp and loaded up my trunk. I was early and wasn't quiet sure where to park. FYI I was told it is okay to park in the parking lot next to their building. Anyway, the owner was there. Let me drop off my junk early. I paid by CC and was sent both a letter and email confirming my destruction. It felt great getting rid of stuff. I would definitely go back. Apparently they shred paper too (banker boxes). I had been using an on-site mobile shredding company but they were recently acquired

I took a printer to GreenMouse to have it recycled. A worker came out and told me $10. I asked why and he stated that the case is plastic. I told him all electronics have plastic these days. I told him that they didn't advertise a fee for printers. He just shrugged his shoulders. So, I gave him $10 and he disappeared into the building with my money and printer. He did not give me a receipt. I suspect I bought him lunch!

I was laying in bed today when my wife told me her laptop wouldn't turn on and it seemed like it was swollen. Since I don't want my house to burn down I sprinted out of bed, got out my toolkit and removed the enormously swollen battery from her laptop.

I didn't think anyone would be open today to get rid of this literal timebomb, so I called and they answered right away. As I pulled up to the location a gentleman walked outside and took the battery from me without me even having to go inside.

Thanks!

I needed a place to recycle my old desktop (I wiped the harddrive myself), and GreenMouse was the closest recycling center near me (They are also mentioned as one of the e-waste recycling center on the Santa Clara County website).

The drop off was quick and efficient, I just dropped the desktop off, informed the worker, no hassle.

The parking can be a bit tricky, the lot is small.

Here is their website on what they take for free, what costs a fee and what they don't take.

Overall, great experience

Hell yeah I'm reviewing a recycling location. Haters gonna hate!

GreenMouse is the best place for any Los Gatos resident to put to rest that old piece of sh%t laptop they have laying around the house once and for all. Not only will they 'correctly' recycle that dinosaur but also shred the internal hard drive before doing so. This way you don't have to worry about your embarrassing cat photo collection secretly hitting the net 10 years down the line.

Had to get rid of some computers and printers. Although they have to charge for printers with lots of plastic, it's only about $5 each. The computers are free to get rid of and they will destroy the hard drive for you. I also got rid of a ton of old cables and misc things.

Everyone is very nice there and quick to help. The lady kindly gave me the information on why they have to charge, which has to do mostly with gas charges for trucking the plastic to our poor recycling infrastructure in the USA, now that China has blocked us from recycling our plastic and cardboard.

I can recommend dropping
