Buffet food was awesome!! Only if I got bigger stomach.
One problem: no elevator?? Yes, there is a chair lift. But... A person who is confided to the wheelchair cannot be transferred to the lift.
MYC has lots of 💲💲💲💲💲, soooo why can't MYC install the simple elevator!?!?

The lobster bisque was very good, but the pastrami sandwich was the star of the meal.
I've never had a less than excellent meal there.

As a former member of many years, I can say life without paying membership dues to MYC (exceeding that of chicago yacht clubs) feels great. I dine at restaurants with great service and food. I use marinas with floating docks. I’m not settling anymore. Pretty location but wish it was called the Wisconsin Club YC or University Club YC with would bring a much higher standards and a culture of progress, of maintenance, of rules, and of fiscal stewardship. They used to allow outside weddings but ceased that in 2020. It was a great spot for a wedding, less so for members.

I had a wonderful experience dining at the Milwaukee Yacht Club. Drinks, service and food were all grade A. I started off with the fried chicken sliders which are served 4 on a plate. It is a very generous portion for an appetizer and was delicious. For dinner, I split the lobster roll and cheese burger with my girlfriend. I adore the Milwaukee Yacht Club, both for the food and the ambiance. We sat outdoors for drinks and dinner, and the views of the water were beautiful. Their cocktails are great; I usually get the Dark and Stormy but tried a margarita this time and both are strong and delicious! I got the veggie hummus wrap which was very good; the vegetables were fresh. It came with a side of ranch chips which I recommend! We got a side of ranch dressing to dip them in as well. My mom got the chicken sandwich which she loved as well. TMYC has defiantly stepped up their food lately; everyone I was with enjoyed

Thank you Bob, Cindy and staff at the MYC for making our wedding experience such a memorable one. Love the facility and love the warm and friendly culture built around sailing. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Rented a beautiful pontoon boat to entertain colleagues from Germany. The sandwich and veggie trays were perfect for the boat ride. Costs were what you would expect for an event downtown. I think the pontoon rental is only available to members, which we are lucky enough to have working at our company.

The company I worked for uses the Milwaukee Yacht Club for a number of functions, and it is in a lovely location with a beautiful view. Last night, the sound system didn't work well, the food was okay, and during the program, the speaker had to compete with noises, voices, and laughter coming from the kitchen staff cleaning up after the meal. I guess it was nice THEY were having fun. We had a good time too, but it might have been better...somewhere else.

We stopped into the Milwaukee Yacht Club while delivering a sailboat from Frankfort Michigan to Chicago. the facilities are fantastic and we felt very welcomed by the staff and some of the members who struck up co conversations with us. The food was great and service was tremendous. they will be a stopping off point for us in the future for sure.

It’s a beautiful setting for a luncheon but when they remodeled they ruined their stair lift causing great difficulty for anyone with problems climbing. Because the useless lift is on the right side of the staircase, it makes it even more difficult to climb. I hope they fix it.

Attended a gorgeous wedding at the yacht club - the food was delicious, the service was excellent and the presentation of everything from table settings to dessert was absolutely beautiful. That’s not even mentioning the stunning views of the piers, Lake Michigan, and lakeshore drive area. The layout of the place is nice - a bar overlooking the dance floor and tiered outdoor decks. All in all a lovely location.

A hidden gem! We could not have picked a better place to host our wedding reception. Kalyn and the MYC staff were phenomenal. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Kalyn was a champ and took care of every request,… big or small right up until the end of the night. We dropped off all the decor the day before and she and her staff did such an amazing job bringing the room to life! The views are breathtaking and the food was delicious. The space is intimate and classy which is exactly what we wanted. We had 120 guests (plus a 12 piece big band!) and fit in there perfectly. Was honestly everything

The MYC did an amazing job hosting my wedding! My aunt and uncle are members here and they recommended we check out the venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted to be on the water. This place was actually affordable compared to others with the added bonus of actually being able to take boat rides. Their service was amazing, food was delicious, and venue was gorgeous. They worked with all our vendors very well. They had a great bartender and we were very well taken care of. Best part was getting to take boat rides after the ceremony and before dinner!

Choosing the Milwaukee Yacht Club was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. They were extremely accommodating and customer service oriented every step of the way! For example, our rehearsal venue backed out on us very last minute. They allowed us to use their boathouse even though they already had an event in their main dining area: saving the day! A few of the venues that we looked at had hidden fees (cake cutting, serving coffee, etc.), MYC did not have any of those fees. Can’t say enough good things about MYC! The dock staff is unbelievable in terms of service, repairing problems and ensuring members and visiting boaters have a wonderful experience.
The hospitality staff is… ensuring your meal is prepared to your preference while recommending new items on the menu at the Skylark Bar/pool-house and main dining room. Chef Kelly and her team always prepare the best for your dining experience or event you host at MYC.
No Boat, no problem there are a ton of things to do at MYC- paddle boards, the pool, Ideal 18’s, new bikes to ride along the lakefront

Can't say enough good things about how the Yacht Club handled the wedding reception for my sister and her husband yesterday Oct 28th 2017. The staff was courteous, respectful, helpful and kind. Nothing was left to be worried about it and you made her day great. The food was excellent, the staff handled everything and the room looked great. Thank you again. The only recommendation I have would be to consider installing a small ATM machine. Personally I wanted to tip the bartender more but was completely out of cash after putting a few dollars in the jar. For the amount of running he did I would

Had our wedding reception there and it was absolutely beautiful! I loved that we didn't have to do much decorating because the building has huge windows overlooking the yachts. The staff was super accommodating! We had our cocktail hour outside by the tiki bar and then moved inside for dinner. I received numerous compliments that the Yacht Club meal was the best wedding dinner they had ever had. Also, their menu options were quite diverse for a large event like that. Also, it is a great venue for taking beautiful photographs!

Had a great breakfast here today. Service was exemplary. My bloody Mary was delicious, the coffee was perfect. Daughter and I had the Croque Madame, which was grilled ham, white cheddar, with an egg over medium - an excellent sandwich! Son had a ham and cheddar omelet, which he inhaled! Hubby had a perfectly prepared club sandwich accompanied with a generous fruit salad. Their hash browns were fried to perfect crispiness in butter, I could have eaten a pound of them!
