I have developed a strong reputation for careful and collaborative concern with those that are important to the care of you and your family. This sometimes looks like a call to a teacher or professor after a particularly tough week. This looks like coordinating care with a pediatrician or psychiatrist for medicine management.

This could look like discussing challenging scenarios with your attorney or parent facilitator. Whatever the need, I strive to go the extra mile. I strive towards patience and understanding in the midst of challenging life circumstances. No story is too big or scary. I collaborate with clients by providing support in meeting their desired goals.
Services
It is great to hear from you! For child and adolescent new clients, my process is to meet with parents first for an intake initial appointment, where I hear more concerns and go over developmental history and social/emotional challenges. We then agree on a plan for your family from that first meeting.
I enjoy helping children, adolescents and adults navigate through the complexities of powerful emotions and challenging life circumstances. I bring a warm sense of humor with an empathetic awareness to people struggling in tough situations. I want to meet you where you are in life's journey, while bringing a fresh, non-judgmental perspective to each counseling session.
I received a masters degree specializing in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. This was a degree program specializing in the theories and techniques of counseling, as well as developing skills to help facilitate challenging life scenarios for families in need. Some of my favorite courses included normal human growth, lifestyle and career development, and the treatment of trauma.

I work with and refer to Jarrod often. Because I only collaborate with those I deeply trust, I can give the highest remarks for Jarrod's personableness, expertise, and his supportiveness for everyone he works with. He's also really fun and creative, which is a great attribute to have working with the pediatric population.
Clients seek him out from all over the metroplex to make the worthwhile investment of therapy for themselves and/or family. I highly recommend!
