This includes shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory, sorting, dismantling and direct customer interaction.
We offer free local and responsible recycling solutions for Bay Area's electronic waste. We accept all electronics, including Computers, Servers, Printers, Monitors, TVs, Cell Phones and Laptops. Please remove batteries and lightbulbs from appliances before dropping them off. The tables below can give you a better idea of what we can and cannot accept.
Rica Recycling offers end-to-end recycling services including the refining of precious metals from electronic waste. We pay top industry rates for e-scrap and electronic waste products. We do not accept whole computers, monitors, power supplies or hard drives or other whole components. The gold scrap must be broken down into acceptable scrap materials.

What a great and efficient experience! We got in and out within five minutes. As we pulled in, a gentleman came with a cart with help us. He guided us with what they would take and what they would not. Quick and easy!

Rica is fantastic about accepting household electronics and electrical appliances for free recycling and they destroy all hard disks to protect your privacy. They only charge a small fee for microwaves. They are friendly and answer all questions on site or by phone. Use rica and avoid more landfill and recycling fees.

Very friendly people here! I took my broken microwave here and some guy saw me and helped me carry it into the place. He was very friendly. I called another e recycling place and they would have charged me $20+ for trying to recycle something like a microwave. I would definitely come back here again if I have any other electronics that needs recycling

Bought laptops on Ebay. He had me paid via a PayPal invoice and refuses to mark the Ebay order as paid.
The laptop he sent me were covered in food and non functional.
The company does not seem to care, and the customer service thinks it is a joke that I am not happy.
Since they refuse to mark as paid I can not open a return case. I will now have to take this up with PayPal to receive a proper return.
Stay away from this company. Very shady business practices.

If I could give them more stars I would. Very nice people that will help you and give you great quality. I would highly recommend this place. I bid on a microwave on eBay that they posted and not only did I save money but the quality of the microwave was better than I could have imagined being that it was a year old. Rica Commercial Recycling is very efficient and the staff at the time of my visit were very prompt and friendly. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes without waiting. I was greeted well and serviced as fast as possible.
Parking is also great, they have designated parking for people dropping off their stuff. There's also a nearby mini taco truck that serves pretty good food if you're waiting.
Overall, I strongly believe that they are running a pretty solid system and I could not ask for more.

So... The place have store in eBay selling parts... I didn't see any mentioning of charity what so ever on the website... So... people drop things off, they break down and/or sell for profit... that's it? That's how it's encourage the raise the standard on eWaste recycle? "Look how much money you can make with these things we get for free"? That's it?

Found an item on Craig's list they were selling and had a few email exchanges. They were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. When I came in to pick up what I wanted everyone was really helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located off the highway and easy to get to from most parts of the Bay Area. Will be going back to either drop off electrical items that I no longer need or for picking up electrical odds and ends on the cheap. Be ready to pay with cash or pay pall and pull into the parking lot. I parked on the St. and then ended up moving my car once I found

Like another reviewer, i found this business through ebay and since i live close by, i asked them for local pickup which they were happy to do. Just a word of advice to anyone who is visiting them, the front door is locked, so use the doorbell on the side door next to parking lot that has a 'Bay Alarm' sign. They accept cash or payment via paypal and their prices seem fairly decent.

Came in to pick up a part for my computer after viewing their business on eBay. I was immediately helped out by their friendly staff who also offered to show me other parts I could purchase for my computer. The office was very well-kept and organized, which made it easy for me to purchase a couple other parts at the same time. Convenient, organized, and friendly staff.
Service: Willing to help, Skylar was the employee who helped me at the time and was very knowledgeable with computer parts.
