Founded in 1993 by Dave Symons along with owner-operator Tod Emery. Mr. Symons took pride in establishing a company that specializes in quality installations while at the same time excelling in customer service.
Sadly Dave Symons passed away in June of 2008 but left a legacy of customer confidence and excellence that defines who we are today. Tod Emery has continued on with Mr. Symon's legacy by building a company that has become one of Southern California's finest fire life safety contractors in the area.

We had leaking from the top of back security door frame. At first thought it was the roof. Had a roofer out but we both decided it was from the ceiling sprinklers! Flo from Symons (who installed the system in 2007) came out & immediately cut a square from the laundry room ceiling & located the leaking! He fixed the leak as well as replaced the regulator. He explained exactly what he was going to do & how much it would cost. He left the ceiling open so it could dry out & explained the piece of ceiling could be put back later. We have a gentleman who has done a lot of work for us

I had the pleasure to be visited by Florencio from Symons Fire Protection for a sprinkler inspection. Flo was on time, took time to explain how the system works as I came along during his inspection. We found a couple items that needed to be adjusted and I am looking forward to working with Symons again to fix the issues. I cannot recommend enough Symons if you have commercial or residential buildings that need sprinkler inspection or servicing.

Flo, from Symons Fire Protection was awesome on so many levels. First, background...I have owned my home for 11 years, and it has indoor sprinklers (over 23 years old). The water pressure was always 190 and we had to constantly bleed the pipes to get the pressure down. 5 years into house ownership we had a plumber (mistake) help try to fix the high pressure (didn't work). Then recently we developed a leak (outside fortunately). Flo, came in quickly identified the problem, and in just over an hour had put a regulator valve in, fixed the leak, assessed our system, and did preventive maintenance

Our sprinkler system failed and we contacted Symons to come out and repair the system. They were on time, very professional and talked through what was needed. More importantly they help me understand the system and showed me how to perform regular preventative maintenance. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this company!

After noticing a stain in our ceiling, we determined that we had a slow leak in our home fire sprinkler system. Flo, from Symons, promptly came out and made some repairs. He was extremely professional and courteous and he took the time to educate us about our system. He even told us how to regularly test and maintain the system to prevent problems down the road. We were impressed- 100+ star review!

Had Symons out today to fix a small leak in our sprinkler system. Flo was outstanding. Quick response and resolution. He also took the time to educate me on how to maintain the system. Also, John in the office was super responsive and helpful in responding to my initial inquiry, providing an estimate, and scheduling the service.

I selected Symons based on reputation and not based on price although right there. They did not disappointment. The inspector should me how they did not cut corners and provided added value. I also had John Azevado come and perform the finish trim. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite, and great to work with.

Customer service is quick and very efficient.
They know residential fire sprinklers. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.
Another "commercial" company recommended Symons and I'm glad they did.
It's not often these days when an honest and competent company responds to your concerns and truly cares.
I had a high pressure situation with my indoor fire sprinklers at my house. The problem was resolved by Tod and his crew professionally and efficiently in a very timely manner.

I don't even know where to begin. Tod and the team at Symons were just amazing. We were hosting 11 people in our home at the end of August, and found ourselves with a leak in our our fire sprinkler system. I called Tod after a frantic Google searching, having been told by our plumber and a "leak inspector" that they weren't "authorized" to deal with it.

We had busted a fire sprinkler pipe, was calling many places to try to get someone, called Symons, dont know how i reached them but it was through a reference of a reference, called the office they were great they worked with me. Next morning BRIAN COLLIS got here he was cool and assured us he will not leave until its fixed, he did great job on the plumbing, perfect seal perfect job, i could see he took pride in his work, and thats who you want to work on things, because i take pride of my work and i do my best, thats EXACTLY what Brian did

Noticed the leak from my sprinkler system's main pipe in the garage in the morning. After a few calls, I was finally referred to Symons. Todd said he would do his best to have someone come out that day, and he did! Florencio was very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional, going above and beyond in making sure everything was taken care of, and showing me some maintenance practices that I was not aware of. I believe the charges were very fair. Very happy and satisfied with the service!
