Dr. Montgomery grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended the University of Kentucky for her undergraduate and then the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate. She practiced in Northern Kentucky for seven years, then moved to Indiana where she worked until moving to Lexington.
In 2012, Brighton Animal Clinic built and moved into our modern, state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the highest-quality equipment, including our updated surgical suite, digital dental and x-ray equipment, and our expansive patient treatment area, which allows us to provide the highest quality diagnostics and treatment options for your pets.
Wellness Plans help make predictable veterinary care more affordable by spacing out the cost of your pet's annual wellness care across 12 convenient monthly payments. We realize that every pet has a unique set of needs. Our experienced team of staff members are here to help you choose the plan that best fits your pet's individual needs based on age, lifestyle, and health concerns.
It is estimated that over 85% of patients suffer from periodontal disease by 3 years of age. The reasons behind regular dental cleanings are not cosmetic by any means - infection, inflammation, and painful gingivitis can be avoided through regular dental prophylactic care. Dental disease also burdens major organs like the heart with bacteria and inflammation.

I have a high maintenance coated Himalayan cat. Carol is wonderful and so are the others that work with cat grooming. They love the animals. 100 percent recommend for cat grooming. Great group of well educated vets with spend time and have good ideas to help. 100 percent recommend vets.

Brighton has been taking care of our fur babies for a few years now, and are always so great to work with. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with, and the office is very warm and welcoming. They've always taken great care of our cats for both routine and special medical concerns, and everyone there shows real concern for your pets.

I had horrible experiences with vet offices before. Then I found Brighton. The manager actually met me while picking out paint in lowes and even helped me there, I was telling him about my dogs and he said to come see him at the office! I arrived at the office and the staff blew me away with how professional they were. If you need any pet needs at all go find Levi at the vet office, and he's so handsome! :)

I cannot say enough good things about this vet! We recently moved here from a big city and were a little nervous about finding a great vet. We had an older bloodhound with cancer who needed a lot of attention. From our very first visit to the day we put our dog down, the staff at BAC were amazing. We always felt welcome and special and they treated our dog like one they had known for years. They were the perfect blend of compassionate yet professional. After our dog passed, they sent a card signed by the staff. It was a little gesture, but it meant a lot. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic!
