The heavy set white lady running the register was very rude after i waited teice as long as told over the phone. I waited an hour and she just brings the food out and drops it on the counter and walks off. Very rude and unprofessional. She should be fired. I was not the only patron to be lied about wait times and she was rude to several others waiting on their orders. I doubt I will return due to the service.

We just moved to the area from upstate New York where we had our favorite place to get Chinese food. Obviously moving down here we need to find another one, I was in the plaza where Chinese Gourmet was the other day at Publix, I couldn't help but notice how many people were waiting for their food, which is a good sign if a place is that busy. So today, we decided to try it, they did not disappoint. The Lo Mein is the best we have ever had, chicken was done perfectly as well. Highly recommend and will be our Chinese Restaurant of choice going forward.

Very fast, very consistent, friendly, amazing chicken entrees. DELICIOUS Chinese donuts. Overall a amazing place to get take out!!!😍😍😍

Food was excellent as always. We decided to order online this time for a 4:15 pickup. Got there a 4:12 and our order was not available for over 20 minutes. We requested to have brown rice instead of white rice. In the past they never charged for this change. This time we ordered three mains and were charged $12 extra for the brown rice...$4 extra for each of the three entries! Unfortunately we will be going elsewhere for our Chinese food.

I am a regular now, after trying so many different Chinese take out restaurants finally found the one I like. The food is always delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it.

Ordered online. Probably better if they update the order when there is progress. Still shows as in progress after pick up and hours later. Food is delicious but only the order progress gives 1 star doen

Always great food, I love the beef pepper steak. I ask for extra gravy, because it's that good. Awesome portions and very nice staff. You won't be disappointed!!

Coming from a place in Massachusetts with outstanding Chinese food, it was very hard to find a place with tastes the same as what I was used to. China Gourmet blew it away, and heaped onto my expectations even more! Their Lo Mein is the best I’ve had anywhere (including in Massachusetts), and their chicken wings are absolutely to die for, as well as so many other absolutely delicious dishes. I come back here often, and I’m glad that I do!

The Best Chicken and Broccoli, Beef Lo Mein and Shrimp Egg Foo Young in Bradenton Florida. Also good Fried rice. The chef's/ cook's do a Great job. Always Fresh Ingredients. I've eaten Chinese food in NY, DC, San Francisco all their Chinatowns and Good Chinese restaurants all over the country. China Gourmet is Very Good. My only negative is their Pork Steamed Dumplings. Chung Shing in Parrish Florida as the best Pork Steamed Dumplings and pretty good food as well

We like it. This is our "go to" Chinese food place. Appetizers, Kung Pao Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, and Pork fried rice are the usual family favorites. Tender meat, fresh veggies, hot, tasty and ready when we arrive. Prices are standard for the area.
