Paid $40 for 2 pairs of shoes to be repaired. one to have velcro put on and the other to move a button. He yelled at me laughing...can I attribute it to language barrier?! I don't think so - so very rude. If you don't talk to him or ask him any questions your good - they do excellent work. I guess your not supposed to ask any questions.

This review is only for luggage repair. Extremely unprofessional. They have their son sitting in the back room answering customer calls and providing totally incorrect information. Took it in to fix the handle bar mechanism on my bag, which was stick up and wouldn't go back down. They said they'd fix it and let me know if they couldn't since I was leaving for Europe in a day or so. They charged me $50 before the work was done. I called a few days before I picked it up and was told the bag was ready and fixed. Apparently I paid $50 to have the bar move and up down BUT it won't stay upright; it just

A "Champion" ripoff artist that's a definite! His prices are outrageous and so is his attitude! To top it off, he insists that you pay for your job when you drop off your item which is unheard of and acts like he's doing you a favor! I highly recommend going to Seta's Alterations in Oak Park…fantastic work on alterations and shoe repair and very reasonable prices too!
