I've been using CT/NY Tech for a few years since Bob Imbres first started, and much as it was in the beginning it is now the same, a well worth service company to deal with. There are many computer tech places but the issue is trust, "will my information be safe?". And with CT/NY Tech it is. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a new computer/tech person then please give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed!

I had an excellent experience with CTNY Tech and would highly recommend the service to others. I worked directly with Bob and he was incredibly knowledgeable and made my 6 year old computer feel brand new. He was very flexible and worked around my schedule. I will definitely be using CTNY Tech for any future computer issues that come up!

I always found technology intimidating and IT Techs somewhat hard
to communicate with. Then we found Bob ! Extremely knowledgeable and
very easy to communicate with. Bob listens, will ask some questions , then goes to work. He has provided us with solutions to our problems and has made life simpler. Happy to have found him.

I have worked with CT/NY for 3 years. Bob Imbres has been terrific. He has been my go to person for all of my tech needs for my business, including installing Microsoft One Drive for my entire staff and doing it in a way where business was not interrupted. I’ve also made use of his services for several projects at my home, including the installation of Nest outdoor cameras. Overall I could not be happier with CT/NY and highly recommend them.

Since the 1980s I have had numerous tech experts help me deal with difficult computer software glitches, hard drive crashes, and related tech problems, often with modest results and considerable cost. With Bob Imbres I have finally found a dedicated, very knowledgeable expert. He works quickly but never is in a hurry. He asks lots of questions and provides options to each problem and pros and cons of each. There is no need to contact him with reminders--he is constantly in touch and quick to follow-up. And if the situation allows, he will work it out by phone. His rates are quite reasonable and

When the hard drive on my laptop crashed after 6 years, Bob was able to recover all the data. Then he installed a solid state drive in the same laptop, so I didn't have to replace the laptop and can still use all my prior files including important powerpoints. He updated the wifi network and made the laptop run much faster than it had been. He was able to do the same data recovery magic when my wife's old desktop hard drive bit the dust. I highly recommend him!

Bob was sent to me by Amazon to mount on the wall a new TV which I had just purchased from Amazon. He arrived on time.
I already had a TV mounted on the wall so he set about dismounting it, and then mounting the new one. When he finished, he made sure the all of the component connections were working.
Overall, I recommend Bob without reservation to anyone looking for help with audio/video or computer services.

Bob was excellent from start to finish. He had called me twice en route to give me a status on his arrival, which was right on time. Prior to starting the job, Bob gave me a detailed run through of what the project would entail. During the removal and installation of laptop screen, he continued to keep me thoroughly apprised of his progress. I could tell that Bob was very articulate while showing great patience and care. He was also very well presented, personable and left no mess whatsoever. I was very happy with the end result and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him for any hardware / software
