The second time I've been here. First time was to buy a chainsaw. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Made suggestions that were very helpful.
Second visit was to replace chainsaw blade (My fault. I tried cutting through too many nails). Staff was again super nice, replaced my blade in two minutes and were cheaper than my local hardware store.

If you need any small engine service, Lenny is the man to go to! I have given him my business several times in the past and it was always top notch service! Recently, he got my John Deere 317 running again with an 18hp Vanguard. It is such a joy to have the old girl running again after the Kohler KT17 was starting to burn oil, it was 40 years old afterall! Lenny also fixed the PTO and sharpened the blades to the point where the machine stripes professionally!
Thanks Lenny!
P.s. Lenny also carries STIHL products and has an awesome selection!

I've been using Lenny @ Thomaston Power for all my repairs for many years as well as purchasing equipment. His service is top notch, timing of having the repairs done is excellent, and pricing is great! I highly recommend Lenny and the crew at Thomaston Power for all your equipment needs and servicing.

Brought a leaf blower there and told me the cylinder was scored from running to high of octane fuel. He told me that these engines are meant to run with ethanol in the gas, which anybody knows it's the worst thing for small engines. Brought it home took it apart in 20 minutes myself, took a few minutes to clean the piston and cylinder. Cylinder still has factory cross hatching in it. The guy seems nice, but just kept telling me that the school told him this, or that. This is when common sense should ove rule what the book or school said. I just felt he took me for a dummy, and it didn't sit good

Good place friendly service they worked with me to make sure that I got the correct parts for my tractor. UPDATE: I was in the other day to pickup a part I ordered and I noticed they sell climbing gear including ropes, harnesses, belay devices, carabiners, and ascenders. All climbing gear was at prices almost exactly the same as EMS or REI, some gear that tree climbers use a lot was even less.
