I am a board certified general adult psychiatrist with 30 years of experience. I co-founded PsychServ Medical Corporation with Nathan J. Zilberg, Ph. D., where I practice in Corte Madera, California. The majority of my practice is direct patient care. My approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and pragmatic.
We begin with a comprehensive consultation. I take a thorough history that allows me to begin to understand how you are put together as a person: how your personality is organized, your coping style, your patterns in interpersonal relationships, your "hard-wired" biological makeup, and what factors have influenced your resilience, adaptability, strengths, and limitations.

Services
I offer an integrated model of psychiatric and psychological treatment. However, if you have an established relationship with a therapist and you are seeking treatment with me for medication management only, I am very open to discussing with you a plan for collaborative communication with your therapist to coordinate your care.

Went to see her when I was having nervous breakdowns because I couldn’t keep up with work. I had a very stressful job. I was so exhausted that I couldn’t sit up unassisted.
Dr Keins wrote the most viscous lies about me in her report. It was later determined that I had leukemia, which was causing all of the problems.

FOUR stars (of five)... but only because:
I've no experience with her as a "talk therapist," so I can't speak to that aspect of her practice. That being said, I have no doubt she's good.
My experience with Dr. Keins is limited mostly to her being a Prescribing Psychiatrist. She provides me with Medication Management.
In that capacity, Dr. Keins performs very well. She quickly grasps my needs as I describe them and responds immediately to any reported medication problems. She's very responsive in assisting with health insurance or prescription authorization issues, as well.
