Metro Psychology Support Services is an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services program, commonly known as ARMHS. ARMHS is a consumer-led mental health recovery program that helps people develop personal strategies for coping with mental illness and moving forward with their lives. Services place a strong emphasis on setting personal goals and developing strategies to pursue them.
Participants are encouraged to develop an individualized vision of recovery and take active steps toward making it a reality. Recovery from the symptoms and effects of mental illness is possible and ARMHS supports and guides participants in their journey. Services aim to teach and practice skills in mental health symptom management, independent living skills and social skills.

Services
ARMHS is a program regulated and funded through the Minnesota Department of Human Services. The program provides intensive rehabilitative services to people at least 18 years of age who have a mental health diagnosis. Any person eligible for or currently receiving Medical Assistance can receive ARMHS.
Mental health practitioners are the workers who provide ARMHS. They are commonly referred to as practitioners, or simply ARMHS workers. Once a participant has been deemed eligible for the program, they will be matched with a mental health practitioners who will come out to their home or meet them in the community to start services.
My ARMHS worker is awesome. She is positive and uplifting, very well prepared and organized. She seems very attuned to what I need and helps me help myself. I really like her and appreciate her for the person that she is and for being a great practitioner. She is an excellent choice for an ARMHS worker.

They don't deserve this 1 star. I am disabled and homeless.
On my 2nd ARMHS worker in 6 months. The first didn't do ANYTHING! Just spent 4 weeks/4, 1 hr calls in silence as this new one "typed" my re-certification.
Also just learned the "head/ceo" Donna refuses to help/work with the new Housing Stabilization Program.
Take your Mental Health elsewhere!!

I am having an excellent experience with the ARMHS (Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services) program from Metro Psychology Support. My ARMHS worker is very relatable, understanding, and encouraging. She is always on time when we meet and if there is ever a problem she texts me or has someone call me in advance so that I know that we have to reschedule. Also, they offer the option to have a text reminder about your appointments, which I find very helpful. I recommend this place if you are looking for an ARMHS worker. Sometimes they answer the phone but yet when you need some help the voicemail goes unanswered for awhile and it would be nice to have them answered in a timely matter but that's where you can choose there problem or find a better way because it's not easy to earn respect if you listen to oneself it would make more at peace
