My goal as a wedding photographer is to use my creativity to represent you as couple and tell your wedding story, so that you too can share the memories with each other, as well as family for years to come. I graduated from Indiana University in 2009 with a degree in Fine Arts before moving to Chicago to photograph weddings professionally.
My photography is expressed in a natural way as the day unfolds and it is really important to me that my clients are able to soak up every moment and not be concerned with a strict photography timeline. I have so much love for what I do and am very grateful that I get to work with so many amazing couples on such a big day in their lives.

Photography has been a part of my life in one way or another since I was very young. Whether it was my dad trying to capture every moment of my childhood, my mom allowing me to use her point and shoot or my first compact camera for my eleventh birthday. But my favorite "photography" memory is of my Grandmother.
Krista is so seamless with the way she works. You don't even know that she is around snapping pictures - ninja powers I tell you! She was so professional, very nice to work with - we loved that she provided guidance and was very artistic in her approach. I absolutely love the way she works - what she captured is priceless!

Krista was amazing to work with for our wedding! She effortlessly and efficiently captured so many beautiful photos and I was amazed by how many moments she covered. I was not sure if we would miss having a second shooter and in looking at the album, you would truly never know! She was incredibly flexible when we needed to postpone and even turned around the photos in ~3 weeks amid an extremely busy 2021 wedding season. We also really enjoyed spending our day with her, she was so fun and easy to be around and made everyone feel so comfortable!

After our initial conversation, we booked her and scheduled our engagement shoot. I don't photograph myself too often and my fiancé and I rarely display public displays of affection. During the shoot, Krista made me feel 100% comfortable and I never thought taking professional photos would be so fun! It unfortunately rained during the shoot and I was a bit worried about how the photos would come out. Amazingly Krista was able to deliver the photos back in about a week

Krista photographed our wedding on April 1st. She did a fantastic job. She was extremely calm and has a great way of capturing moments without anyone knowing. For both the engagement and wedding day photos, I gave her suggestions before we met on things I liked and thought might be good for pictures. She took those suggestions and made them even better with her photography eye. Can't say enough good things about Krista! We had her come to our home and photograph our newborn son and everything about the experience was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive to all my emails leading up to the shoot and then on the day, she arrived right on time and was so easy to work with. She caught all the shots we asked her to - plus more. We couldn't be more pleased with the way that all of the photos turned out and the moments that she captured. We just received the prints that we ordered through her site and they are beautiful.

Krista was awesome at my sister's wedding never missing a beat while behind the scenes. From getting there early, to staying well past her time. Krista did a wonderful job photographing my wedding in Chicago. She was very professional, easy to work with, and understood that we wanted more candid than posed shots.
Every time I looked for her she was right there, shooting away, but she was never intrusive. She got lots of pictures of wonderful moments throughout the event, and every time I see them I relive all the joy and fun of the day. It doesn't hurt, either, that she made me look great!

This past summer my husband and I were expecting our second child and wanted to do a maternity/family photo shoot to capture this very special moment in our lives. We were very lucky to find Krista on Yelp.com. We saw her work posted online and immediately fell in love with her artistic style.
