This is my daughter's 2nd time going to this camp and she loved it. It's well organized and put together. Due to Covid restrictions they are super screening kids to make sure the camp is safe for everyone and that's a good thing. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Alba for making sure my daughter was able to attend as well as ensuring her safety. This camp is huge and has many steep hills that my daughter enjoyed hiking on and great scenic lookout as well. We will definitely be coming back for the summer program.

Great camp for kids! Overnight summer camp, archery, pool, rock wall, ropes course, green house, fire pits, cabins, horse back riding etc... Went here when I was a kid and loved it. Associated with the Jewish Big Brother program. I mentor a boy ( my little brother) who now goes to camp and has been at least six times and loves it. Just the best!

The kids at Bob Waldorf were immature for their age and the staff didn't know how to stop their misbehaving. Being a camp counselor is hard work, so I do give them credit for their efforts. The food was good, but the plates and silverware were dirty. The activities that the staff made where really well set up and fun. All in all the camp was ok.

I dont know how it is today but I'm 27 now and I went there when I was around 10-13 years old and it was the worst most terrifying experience I've had as a kid. And I heard the shooter from the movie theater worked there as well. So not to sure how well their background checks are. I truly hated this camp and it left me a little tramatized. Multiple workers put hands on me for walking away or just not wanting to do thier organized activities. I never got to speak up about this as a kid. Personally I would never send a kid there.

STAY A WAY FROM Camp Bob Waldorf in Glendale.
Do not be surprised if your child will be bully it's normal in this camp.
Our daughter was bulled by other girl for 3 day in row but no body interfered and stopped it
Director Zach Lasker said to me it is a problem with your daughter and she better go home. Very unprofessional. In bottom line my daughter was crying two hours that was NOT a great experience for her. Same day she was expelled from camp.

I attended Max Straus camp at the end of summer, 1960. In fact, I had my 14th birthday there. If memory serves me correctly, back then the camp lasted for two weeks. Those days at camp, were some of the best days that I can recall as a kid. I was born and raised in L.A., and when the chance was presented to me to attend that summer, I jumped at it. If given the chance, I would have liked to stay there the whole summer. I will always remember with great fondness, all the wonderful kids and staff that I met, and all the fun we had, each and every day. We had a great counselor, who was assigned to
