A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Dental radiographs (x-rays) are essential, preventative, diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Dentists and dental hygienists use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and complete an accurate treatment plan.

Dr. Anderson provides excellent care and it's painless! The staff and Dr. Anderson are very caring. They follow up via phone calls after procedures to make sure we are recovering. They go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe during cleanings and other dental work. Dr. Anderson remembers my name as well as my spouse. It's refreshing to have a doctor and staff who serve with care and compassion. 🤗

I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson's for over 15 yrs. The best dentist I have ever had!!! I remember my 1st visit because I was so surprised that they were ready for me at the time of my appointment while other dentists I had left me waiting and frustrated. I appreciated that they valued my time. I came to learn this was not a one off. They are ALWAYS respectful of my time. My children were also patients of his as minors and were treated so well they still comment that they wish they lived in the area so they could see him now. Dr. Anderson has been a trusted and valued dentist for me. I've been coming to him since 2004, and I have no plans on changing. Past experiences with other dentists that were not positive created a lot of anxiety and fear for me. But Dr. Anderson has been understanding, patient, and accommodating. Also note that I used to live in Riverside, but have moved to Los Angeles, Oakland, and now Dallas over the last five years. I still come back for dental treatment and care. Very personable, fair, and honest. I highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson since December 1989. Members of my family (children and grandchildren) and friends are also patients. In my almost 67 years, I have seen may dentists, including Navy dentists attached to Marine Corps units. I can honestly say, without reservation, that he is the best of the best when it comes to taking care of his patients. He is very knowledgeable professional and personable. Booked an appointment for my husband and myself, for cleaning and dentures for my husband. Dr. Anderson (and I use the term "Doctor" loosely) refused to clean my husband's teeth, and said "Yeah, I can do the dentures, but I don't like to do that anymore. Here's someone else you can go to". Then he began to ask me about the meds I was taking...how long since I had a physical. When I told him I had never had a FULL physical, he began to question the integrity of my physician.
