Dining In cooks out of the kosher certified kitchens at the Charleston JCC under the KCC (Kosher Commission of Charleston).

The KCC is the VAAD Hakashrus in Charleston, which is made of up of Rabbis from two local orthodox synagogues and the Chabad. Dining In also always has a mashgiach on staff. On top of kashrut, we work very hard to accommodate any special dietary restrictions, such as a nut or gluten allergy.

Dining In is Charleston's kosher catering company helmed by Marcie Rosenberg. Marcie knew she wanted to work with food since the second grade. She started working in the food industry when she was 16. By 21, she had graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and moved to Charleston.

With input from you, as well as Charleston's own unique local flavor, we create the perfect menu to fit the season, location & couple.

Spend your time keeping Aunt Sadie entertained and finishing off that last centerpiece while Dining In takes care of the food, linens, set up, breakdown, & tableware.

Visiting the Charleston area during COVID, we were not going to eat in a restaurant. And, I have always kept kosher. So I wanted to try Dining In. The food was wonderful!!!! We had grilled chicken sandwiches and teriyaki chicken platters. Each meal had very large portions and was presented beautifully. Entrees and sides were SO DELICIOUS! The food was very flavorful without being too hot/spicy. Compares VERY favorably with the great kosher caterers/supermarkets in Baltimore and DC.

We travel to Isle of Palms every year for vacation and always look forward to using Dining In for our Shabbos food. The food is fantastic, and the variety is amazing. We have food allergies in our family, and Marcie is such a pleasure to work with to make sure all of the food our kids can have. Thank you Dining In for enhancing our vacation and Shabbos experience!

We were in Charelston for Shabbat, and ordered food to have at our hotel. Marcie and her team are so easy to work with. The food was delivered promptly on Friday afternoon, amazingly packaged and ready to eat. Everything we ordered was delicious and so plentiful, we even had leftovers to take home with us! The challah was really the highlight. We polished it off!! Would highly recommend. You really made our Shabbat!

My wife and I were visiting Charleston to attend a wedding. We needed kosher food (no meats) for Shabbat and the weekend on very short notice. She prepared an incredibly tasty and well presented assortment of non meat foods that was really the best we ever had while travelling. And we especiialy enjoyed her home made challah rolls. If anyone is ever in need of delicious kosher food in the Charleston area, Dining In Inc is the place to cater.

It is important to have kosher options whether you live in Charleston or are just visiting. Marcie works hard to provide great kosher food whether for a pop up cafe, hosting a party, or to make your holiday easier. Holiday menus come out before each holiday so that you can order all or even just part of your holiday meal. Holiday and challah orders must be in by Tuesdays at 5pm. Pick-up is on Thursdays from 1pm - 6pm & Friday from 8am - 4pm. Traditional Jewish food made locally. Visiting from out of town? Kosher meals can be delivered to your hotel. My favorite is the cinnamon challah special

We had an entire weekend of kosher catered food from Dining In, it was excellent!! plentiful portions, kids and adults enjoyed it, double wrapped so it was easy to warm it up, delivered with a smile. To top it all off the last meal was from them was a delicious wedding dinner. I find it hard sometimes in formal events to feel fancy eating my completely different looking food, but this 3 course meal was presented beautifully. easy to unwrap, plated nicely, delicious, fresh, and made me feel just like i fit in with the crowd. in fact many people came up to me and asked how they could get the same

If you need kosher catering in Charleston, definitely check out Marcie. For my family's reunion of sorts, she made us delicious salads - tuna & egg salad. Both very good.
Her kosher parve carrot birthday cake was over the top excellent! Everyone loved it.
