Americans are getting sicker every day. No one hesitates to take a pill for just about every ailment or health condition. The problem with this approach is it only treats the symptoms, but provides no cure. At Dilworth Drug & Wellness, we do not believe in this "pill for every ill" approach to medicine.
Penicillin antibiotics were among the first medications discovered and were effective against many bacterial infections. These medications actually cured acute illnesses, or diseases. This was the beginning of the modern pharmaceutical era where pharmaceutical companies began developing new drugs to treat more and more illnesses.
I like to be known as the pharmacist that dislikes drugs, and let me tell you why. After many years of dispensing medications to thousands of patients for many different chronic conditions, I began to see the same pattern, over and over again. My patients were not getting any better!

The most wonderful people work here. I was having trouble filling a prescription somewhere else and they helped to fill it. Unfortunately, it was pretty far away and I ended up finding a place a little closer. But the people here at Dilworth helped me transfer it out to the other pharmacy with the same patience and grace as if I were still their customer. They reassured me that if I were still to have any issues at the new place, they would still be happy to assist. This place and the people in it are nothing short of exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone.

This place is Amazing!! Especially Sophia Thomopoulos. I was referred to Dilwortg Drug and Wellness Center by a friend. We needed a urgent rapid covid test. Then at the airport they gave us a hard time with documents and when I called Sophia multiple times and asked for her help. She responded so quickly and helped us out before our flight! I really appreciate all your help! Definitely my new favorite pharmacy!

I've been using Dilworth Drug for years now. What prompted me to write this review was the interaction I had with Taylor. She was so kind, patient, and helpful while I was trying to fix a small issue with my medication. I can't stress enough how great Taylor was! The staff here in general is great. This is truly a neighborhood pharmacy.

This is truly a neighborhood pharmacy. Josh has worked with our family since we first moved to Dilworth and he worked at a local drug store. He and his staff keep close eye on the medications our family takes and makes appropriate recommendations. They are huge supporters of the neighborhood and the public schools. But more importantly they truly care about your health and well being. It's been inspiring to watch the the company grow and expand into health and wellness.

I will never have enough nice things to say about this pharmacy!!! I got a call from my old standard big box pharmacy 2 minutes before closing on Friday evening that they could not fill my prescription, and that I'd need to contact a compound pharmacy. I called Dilworth when they opened Saturday am, and they regretfully explained that they did not have a tech that worked on the weekends, but asked if I'd stay one brief hold while they contacted OTHER PHARMACIES to see if they could help. Unsuccessful, they asked for my name and number and said they'd call back if they found someone

Dilworth Drug was down the street from us when we first moved to Charlotte and I now happily drive 15 minutes across town to fill my prescriptions because they are such a lovely business. They stock high quality, wonderful products that range from standard pharmacy fare to chemical-free, unscented shampoos/beauty products. They offer great programs for filling/refilling, pick-up ready notifications, and all sorts of fantastic technology to make life that much easier. They also are always happy and willing to look into questions I have or contact my doctors to follow up and are incredibly reliable

Any time I have picked up medicine at a big chain pharmacy, I leave without speaking two words to the pharmacist. Recently, I picked up a prescription from Dilworth Drug and the pharmacist named Natalie could not have been more nice and helpful. Natalie made sure I didn't leave with unanswered questions and I really appreciated that. I primarily only shop here now and it's honestly because of her. It was refreshing to see someone that seems to really like what they do and can even make you laugh :) Now I have a primary doctor AND a primary pharmacist, thank you Natalie!

Great family friendly pharmacy. Love that their main emphasis is on the customer, and the experience you get is much, much better than the big chain stores. Prices are also competitive, and they have a great selection of vitamin supplements as well. They also offer immunizations and counseling, which I was unaware pharmacies took the time to do!

Best drug store in Charlotte. Personalized service and real people work here that still care about their customers. The service is outstanding, the pharmacists are very knowledgeable and caring. They are focused on what they do - helping people get their medications instead of trying to be a mini WalMart like the big chains. They will work through your insurance with you, deliver Meds to your home, and have curb side service. They are also modern in that they will text message you when meds are ready. I won't go anywhere else!

I've been through a couple of big box pharmacies, and no more...I'm going local from here on out. Dilworth Drug is in my neighborhood and they have been terrific. I get medication monthly, and they call me if I have questions I need answered, they're efficient when communicating with my doctors' offices, they're always friendly, they include readable patient educate information about the drugs, and they're convenient. I've never looked back. Josh and Sean are so helpful and knowledgable, and every staff member I've seen is terrific. Happy to have them

Dilworth Drug is what you want from your pharmacy. They get to know their customers and will do their best to take care of you. Owner / pharmacist Josh Rimany came from a chain pharmacy with a goal of providing great customer care and personal service and he has accomplished that along with his wife Jamie, and his staff.
