I've become very tired of living here. It's true that I keep forgetting to pay on the first, but we get no reminders, just an "order to vacate" flyer on our door on the 4th without warning including a $200 fee on top of rent. When I sign up for autopay, it never fully works; it excludes paying for the utilities so I have to pay manually anyway, or doesn't text me when there are insufficient funds so I could transfer funds from another account.
They raised my rent $200 and said it was equal to what other competitors were renting for. So I bought a condo for $200 less than what they are charging

I lived here for 2 years and it was great. The staff were wonderful to work with! Any questions were answered quickly and any maintenance problems were handled within a day or two, which was amazing. The resident portal is very user friendly and it helps you to keep track of your rent and utilities- loved that. Overall I loved living here and I highly recommend them. A special thanks to Jasmine at the front office- she was super helpful during the move in process (with all of my questions) and the move out process. Thank you for being a great place to live!

I’m really not happy right now. I’m currently burning up. It’s 91 degrees in my whole apartment. The living room is too hot to sit down in and the bathroom is the only place cool enough. It wasn’t like this last summer. Please come fix my cooling, it’s been two days of 90 + degree days with my cooler blowing 90 degree air at my face.

My husband and I moved in in the early summer and have had absolutely no complaints. The maintenance guys are always great and they get the job done the same day every time we've needed them. The staff in the office are also so kind and answered any and all questions we've ever had. We got the upgraded 1 bed 1 bath, and for the size that it is, is remarkable. Paying rent and utilities online too is a big plus if you don't have time to go get a check or anything! The only issue ever has only been the parking. If you have more than 1 vehicle it can be a little tricky to find a spot.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! They have NO parking but tow your vehicle if it's parked in not a designated parking spot. And costs $240 just to get it from the tow place no matter how long it's been there for. In addition to that they have NO heat. When it gets below 20 degrees my apartment gets to the 50s. Also the managers are never there/don't listen. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I love my 2 bedroom apartment at Goldstone Place. It was first on my list to look at because of the indoor pool. (Open year round) but fell in love with the beautiful wood laminate floors and open floor plan. I live here with my daughter and Yorkie (dog). They are pet friendly. The landscaping is clean and the other tentants I have ment are friendly. They also throw monthly getogethers for the tentants at the clubhouse with food and drinks (family friendly). You will love working with Brett and the girls at the front office they are very helpful. I have not had an issue that hasn't been resolved

So far being here for a few months I have had nothing but amazing service from the staff, and I like my apartment very much. Pet friendly, good prices, and I like that we are tucked away a little. One thing I don't like is the one way street system only because half the time people are ignoring it. Other than that I have been pleased.

Goldstone is a nice, affordable place to live. I will have lived here for over one year without any major problems. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to live in the Layton/Ogden area.
The only really downside relating to the inside are the lack of bathroom space and counter space in the kitchen. Also, the countertops themselves are old and dated and hard to keep clean.
