After multiple knee surgeries and months of struggling with recovery and PT, I happened to stumble across Beyond Exercise and decided to check it out. I wish I had found this place sooner because before BE my progress had stalled and frustrations were mounting. Within just a few sessions I had made progress and found help and support with my BE physical therapist (Laura). The facility is extremely nice, front desk is very helpful, and the one-on-one training/therapy sets BE apart from other PT facilities. I have been going to Beyond Exercise for almost 3 years now, have used almost every service offered, and I don't know how I ever lived without this place! Nothing but great experiences at BE. I have primarily worked with Jen and done "regular" PT and dry needling. She listens to my concerns and comes at the problems a few different ways. Dry needling has long been a key to my recovery and I'm glad that BE / Jen provide it. I also like that she's a serious athlete, too, and so she connects with what I am trying to do, even as I age. I use BE for rehab AND pre-hab. Ideally it will be more of the latter! I highly recommend Beyond Exercise. (And I also highly recommend Ean for great deep tissue massage.

Beyond Exercise has been the hope and help I’ve needed through various soccer injuries (including 5 foot surgeries) and chronic pain. I’ve been a client here for around 7 years and seen almost each expert at some point or another.

We brought our 13 year-old son in for physical therapy and our experience at Beyond Exercise exceeded our expectations. This was his first injury, and we have no doubt having a physical therapist work one-on-one with him, demonstrating exercises and correcting his form got him back running much faster and than if we'd gone somewhere else. The exercises he learned have also stuck with him, and it helped him this fall to ensure he didn't experience a re-injury. With three boys all involved in multiple sports, I have no doubt we'll be back!

I decided to give a BE a try for physical therapy as a word of mouth referral from multiple friends in the running community that have been treated at BE. I’m training for an Ironman and was in desperate need of a bike fitting. I am a Physical Therapist myself and don’t trust just anyone with my care. Ellen Foster at Beyond Exercise is an expert in the field and took the time to evaluate my biomechanics. Ellen made sure that I did not leave without the proper adjustments. Two years ago I visited Beyond Exercise for a running evaluation, mind-blowingly helpful to see how changing the way I moved my body helped me run more easily. Yesterday I needed some physical therapy for an extremely tight and crazy sore muscle behind my knee (which had been that way for months). Eric S was fabulous both 2yrs ago and NOW! I'm… feeling 99% better in just 24 hours. Of course, I have homework to do: applying heat to warm up my muscle, using a therapy ball or my fingers to apply sustained pressure to release the tight muscles, then simple stretching and finally applying ice

Great resource for athletes and 'athletes.' Dr. Jen is fantastic and so thorough and knowledgable about physiology and what's connected to what, why pain that presents in a certain area is actually caused from another area, etc. She gives me confidence and a plan to stay or get more out of exercise. SO happy my sister recommended Beyond Exercise to me! Jason is amazing and working with him twice a week is making a HUGE difference in my life. After years of regular lower back pain from a slipped disk (L4-L5) in my 30s, and increasing stiffness/tightness as I've entered my 50s, only 10 weeks in and I'm waking up pain-free and without stiffness.… Also more energy and less fatigue and depression. Aside from an incredible training program, they also do a great job of maintaining a “family atmosphere” within the running group.
