Horrible service..Horrible food...will never order food from this restaurant again. I ordered my food in the restaurant and the lady at the register waited to drop the chicken that I orderd until she served all of the patrons that walked into the restaurant after me. The wings had no flavor and the fried rice was simply NASTY!

When it comes to takeout Chinese restaurants, I think Hong Kong #1 is one of the best in the area. With authentic flavors, high quality food and speedy service, Hong Kong #1 is always my go-to option when I want a quick Chinese meal.

The food at Hong Kong is very consistent in terms of flavor and quality. I often find myself ordering the same thing every time I order because they do such a great job preparing the dishes that I love. I can attest that their chow fun, fried rice, and Szechuan tofu are fantastic. However, in my opinion, their shrimp and broccoli is always their go-to dish. Contrary

I ordered a delivery for sweet and sour chicken using DoorDash. The main reason I chose this restaurant was because I wanted to try their sweet and sour chicken and they offered Lo Mein as a side instead of the usual rice. I received the order in normal time and as I got my order, the main ingredient that I wanted (sweet and sour sauce) was nowhere to be found. When I called, they told me that they were sorry an that's it! That made me furious!

Stopped by for lunch in the area, I ordered the General Tso tofu and it was incredible. The tofu was cooked perfectly and the sauce was thick and amazing. I also got spring rolls with and sweet and sour dipping sauce that were just alright and the sauce was cold. I would definitely cone back for the tofu!

I was a little hesitant to try this one, but luckily my wife forced me to order from there. I'm so glad she did, because the prices are very good and the food is great. I like to order beef dishes, but often the meat is inedible but that's not the case here-every bite is tender not waste!

One thing I will say is the egg rolls can be great, or they can be a very thick doughy texture-still a 5 star review though.

I would give this place a zero if I could. First started with the phone call. The woman answering the phone told me "you pay now" in a stern voice after I ordered. Then said 10 min and hung up. Very rude already. When I got there I was trying to figure out what all the signs said she kept pointing to them. As I was about to cal in to let her know I was here she comes to the door saying my order in an annoyed tone. Now to the food. I got home to what I was thinking was going to be awesome general t's chicken was not. I paid extra for white meat but I'm honestly not sure I even

Moved here a few months ago and have been actively trying to find a good Chinese food place- tried Hong Kong for the first time yesterday- reviews amongst the family including myself were great!! All food was fresh and tasty, those with spice had a nice but not overwhelming kick and vegetables were cooked nicely. Pan fried dumpling appetizer was nice and crispy. Menu is quite expansive and look forward to trying many other dishes! Looking forward to our next meal

Tried for the first time last night. Easy no contact orders & pick up. The hose special soup was awesome - large slices of pork, chicken and many shrimp. The broth was nice, clean and veggies even had some crunch - this will always be on my order. Also had fried rice and moo shu pork - both good quality but no spice...I'll ask them to add some next time. Happy to have found a good regular chines place right around the corner!

I have been here a few times and overall I am pleased with the meals I have tried including lo mein, beef with broccoli and chicken fried rice. I was not a big fan of their egg drop soup as I think the consistency is a little too thick. I think they could add a little more meat to their meal items but overall the flavor and seasoning is good. The portion sizes are large and the turn around time is pretty quick for take out.

General two white meat chicken barley had chicken it was mostly all batter and thin chicken like u would find in the lo men . Waste of money I barley ate it. Shrimp egg roll was excellent and made fresh . Crab Rangoon was very tasty in the inside but the outside was not crispy it was more like soggy.

Descent priced food. Called in my order was ready for pick up. And if you have. Non pork eater they have chicken fried rice. Hot & sour soup was good and spicy great for a cold. Lil mama had the Beef Lo Mein and I didn't hear a complaint.

Our go to spot next to HighCraft Beer Market, you can bring food in while you enjoy yummy craft beers. We like their combo platters - beef with broccoli, Hunan chicken, and scallion chicken or beef are all good. Combo comes with pork fried rice and egg roll. Inexpensive date night, especially if go to 1/2 price beer Monday night next door.

As others have said, C&T Wok is 1000x better in food quality.

Mediocre chinese food can be forgiven, but courtesy should be a given.

I think the owner is really really rude.

Try this - ask the owner what she thinks is good, and she will shrug her shoulders, then pay for your order, get your food, thank her, and be ignored.

Family run no frills American Chinese joint best for takeout.

Recently tried takeout here for the first time to switch it up from our usual standbys. They are similarly priced to other places in the area. The food is good American style Chinese food. It is greasy. It is not healthy. But it's yummy and satisfied our crave for an easy takeout meal. The food is good but not super exciting.

The crab rangoon were good. Nice amount of filling. Beef ho fun was a little bland but would be willing to try it again. The general tso's chicken was well fried and tasty, but maybe not quite the

We ordered on the phone and picked up food from Hong Kong 1. Pretty basic stuff - some fried rice and lo mein. It was fine, generally what one would expect at a location like this, but nothing to brag about.

The interior itself is very basic and not a place that I would find very inviting for a sit-down dinner. But the people are friendly and it's pretty fast food service.

The location is in a declining shopping center. That's both good and bad. The bad is that it's declining for a reason (hard to see what's there, not very convenient from the main drag), and its main tenant

I haven't had Chinese food in a long time so I was looking forward to trying this place after reading the reviews.

I stopped in to order (as opposed to calling it in) because I couldn't find a current menu online. The lady at the counter seemed pleasant. Impressed she didn't even write down my order.

Food came out fast! I waited out in the car and it was probably 7-10min.

I went with the Sesame Chicken lunch special, wanton soup and vegetable lo mein. Total was $15 and change. The food was pretty good... surprisingly, I felt like it could use some salt, mainly the pork fried

"Hong Kong No. 1" is a hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant tucked into a back corner of a mini-mall on High House and NC 55 in Cary.

This place is small, clean, brightly lit, and decorated with low-cost furniture, and bare minimum decorations. It's too unkind to call it divey, but it certainly embraces authentic spartan decorating styles of mom-and-pop Chinese joints. This is bare bones basic dining, not family dining experience. For example, there are no reusable cutlery and their spoons are exceptionally flimsy and don't expect an steaming mug of jasmine tea here. Cokes
