Thank goodness. After searching for nearly a year for good Thai food in the Raleigh area, we finally found Thai Villa. Tonight was our first visit, so we went simple: pad thai, pad see ew, and thai custard for dessert (although, with such a great menu, we were tempted to veer off the beaten path). Absolutely everything was delicious. Coming from Philly, we've been spoiled with great Asian food, and have had trouble adjusting to NC's offerings; however, this is the best Thai we have had in NC, by far. Not to mention, the customer service was great as well! We received a call ~10 minutes

I have been to Thailand, and Thai villa has my favorite Thai food in the Raleigh area! The chicken pad see ew is soooooo goood. I have eaten here numerous times and it's consistently good. Their curry isn't my favorite, but I have tried pad see ew from many other places and none of them are as nearly good.

BLUF: Hands down, best Thai restaurant in the whole Triangle.

Their flavors are excellent. Pad See Ew from other Thai restaurants are always bland, under seasoned, and just poor. Thai Villa has that savory, sweet, char on every noodle.

Their green curry is delicious too. The perfect amount of creaminess. Their level-4 spicy could be a bit more, but I'll let that slide.

A regular "we-don't-know-what-to-eat-let's-eat-here" meal. Must go.

Sigh...I really wanted to LOVE this place.

I have been peeping this place for a while. I pass it all the time and today I decided I would give it a try. I read the reviews and it seems like hit or miss. Today, I must have gotten the "miss" day.

I called my order in and was instructed that it would be about 15mins. However, to come right in when I got to the restaurant. Cool. The guy was very kind and friendly over the phone and in person.

As others have stated, it's a little hole in the wall type of place. Simple decoration and well that's all. I did have some areas of

Quite delicious. Moved back to area and was looking for a great Thai place and this place wins. Spicy, tasty, bug portions. Only reason not 5 star is personally not fan of tofu which comes standard with certain dishes but sure you could ask for without

It's been way too long since I had thai food and tonight's dinner was perfect. I wish I knew the name of the girl who took my order and brought my food out, she was amazing and so helpful. They are only doing delivery and curbside pickup right now.

I just got lunch from Thai Villa for the first time, and holy smokes was it good! I had Chicken Pad See Ew. Absolutely delicious. Curbside pickup was super easy, everything was ready exactly when they said it would be, and they were very conscientious about keeping everything touchless in terms of payment. I definitely recommend, and will definitely be back.

805pm right now, hours state open until 830pm. No answer on phone, and ppl standing around ignoring phone. Closed lights when I started looking in.
It's now 812pm , they are during their lights, and showing as closed, and item wish just went off.

.. guess not true to their hours of operations

My husband and I moved from DC a few months ago and have tried multiple Thai places in the triangle and had been super disappointed. We didn't think we would find a good spot but got Thai Villa last night and were impressed! Great food and by far the best Thai we have had. We got kanom jeeb, pad Thai, Thai villa noodles and fried rice. All were great- generous portions with a good amount of meat in each! Our new go to spot for sure

Best Thai in Triangle. Not even close. Ate our food too fast we forgot to take pictures. Huge portions, great price and great flavor. Favorite dishes: Beef Pad See Ew, Pad Thai and Penang Chicken Curry.. absolutely amazing. Everything is.

Fabulous Thai spot here, folks! Very unassuming from the exterior but they let their food do the talking.

Stopped by here after a visit to Grand Asia Market to grab lunch. They're located in the same vicinity right across the parking lot. During this time, they only have takeout option available. You can check out the dishes available on their website. So we called in and ordered their chicken pad see ew and chicken Thai villa noodles for 11.95 each. During the weekends, you can only order from their dinner menu even for lunch.

Taste wise, both dishes were absolutely delicious. I've

Wish I could give half stars: would give 3.5

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot! I have been eating here for years! I took a break from this spot for a decent amount of time because I felt like their food quality dropped but my partner and I ordered takeout yesterday and we were both pleasantly surprised!

They are only serving food curbside/takeout during the pandemic. Be sure to ask for cutlery if you need- food does not come with it.

We ordered the Pad See Ew Chicken Hot and Spicy Catfish Hot. The pad see ew was delicious but the chicken was dry- think we will order tofu

I ate here on a Sunday evening for dinner with one other person. These are my thoughts and observations.

- The waitresses are attentive and knowledgeable.
- The spicy menu items are clearly marked.
- The milk tea is amazing.
- We waited 30 minutes for our food.
- I enjoyed my pad thai and they give you huge portions. You'll probably have leftovers.
- We ended up staying a bit after hours and I appreciated the employees not rushing us out the door.

Overall, if you're looking to try Thai and are afraid of all the "Holy Jesus, this is spicy" stories you've heard, try Thai

This little gem is in the same shopping center as Grand Asia Market. It looks like a hole in the wall but the food is delicious. Plenty of parking available around the shopping center. We went on a Saturday for lunch and the place was pretty packed. There are maybe 20 or so tables.

We ordered a crispy tofu appetizer that was around $8 and two entrees of Pad See Ew and Panang Curry Chicken. Both were quite delicious and priced reasonably around $10-$13. There are no lunch menus on the weekends so we had to order from the dinner menu. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff were really

Won't disappoint you"

Suh foodie gang, it's ya boi JKim!
So what we got was the pad Thai(w/ shrimp), mussaman curry (w/ chicken), and the soft shell crab (w/ chili garlic sauce). Everything hit different, tasted like when you have to wake up early for work and your supervisor ain't talk to you and left early so you can act a fool with your co-workers; in short it was glorious. One thing however i think the garlic chili sauce could have been less sweet and the mussaman too but still slap

Nice chewy pad Thai, good size

I was hesitant to try this place because it was in a sketchy location and the reviews were just ok. I decided to give it a go because I was looking for a good Thai place nearby. I got take out and was pleasantly surprised and I've been back multiple times! So far I have tried: Thai villa noodles(basically drunken noodles), pad Thai, and Tom yum and maybe will venture out more! All were really flavorful and reasonably priced.

When I picked up my order, the inside of the restaurant had a weird smell. Otherwise it was just like a lot of other hole in the walls that serve good food. There were

I think Thai Villa can easily be a hit or miss, depending on what you order. I first came here a few years ago and didn't enjoy it at all, so I didn't go back. But this time, I ordered the Thai Villa noodles, which are basically Drunken Noodles/ Pad Kee Mao and it was delicious! I might get this again, but it has also sparked an interest to try ordering other dishes from the menu!
Note: Spice levels are really mild. I got a medium but felt it didn't have any kind of kick at all.
Service was alright, although could be better. Our table was a bit sticky on the surface, and my friend

Someone highly recommended this place. We got takeout to bring to the Arts Museum for a concert. Put it upright into the cooler. Luckily it was in a plastic bag. We asked twice for extra hot sauce which we did not get.

The green curry was on its side and all spilled out. We managed to gush it back in the container from the bag. The basil rolls were half rolled and lettuce went everywhere. There wasn't any basil either and one small piece of shrimp in each one. The sauce was tasty.

The pad see ew taster burned and wasn't even remotely hot. That sauce would have helped.
