Rey's Restaurant
Founded in 2004 with the vision of quality, I thought that if we never compromised the quality of our food, and served meals in a comfortable, relaxed surrounding with warm, friendly service. I gave my name to the restaurant out of a sincere sense of pride and confidence in our menu and staff. We pledge to maintain high quality standards so we can enjoy your valued patronage again and again.

Voodoo originates from the Fon word Voudon which means: the power; that who is invisible; the creator of all things. We created our "Voodoo Lounge" to be fun and inviting. Come and sit on our plush leather couches and enjoy a martini and live music by the fireplace, or dine in one of our comfortable booths with cordials.
Services
We love Rey's! I have both eaten in the restaurant and used them for catering and have had nothing but the most excellent service. From special requests to the finest food, Rey's Restaurant does not disappoint. Make sure you order enough food if you cater, however, because it's so delicious that you are sure to run out if you do not order extra!

My husband and I tried Rey's after seeing many commercials. It did not disappoint! When we drove up it was such a pretty view! Columns and lights! Inside is gorgeous and very "fancy" which is what we were looking for! Had an amazing server, food was delicious and so pretty!! Bananas foster tableside was the highlight!!!

We made reservations 3 months ago to celebrate Christmas with our family. We arrived on time for our reservation yet still had to stand in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting for a table, with no one in front of us. We were finally seated in the bar area which was definitely not by choice. The appetizer portions were so small they were barely enough for 1 person to enjoy. The wedge salad had rusty lettuce and barely any bacon and mealy tomatoes on it. When the entrees arrived all FOUR of our filet mignons were cooked wrong and my youngest's "frozen" pizza was cold. This is unacceptable

I recently went to Rey's with my wife to celebrate the start of our 2021 staycation. It was our first-ever visit to the restaurant, which has been a presence in the area for quite some time.
The venue is quite attractive, both inside and out. The interior is accented with dark wood trim, and striking floral upholstery. There are a number of rooms of various sizes, making it possible to host private parties large or small. Additionally, there is an outside dining area when weather permits, and a window-enclosed "patio" for more informal mingling.
But you likely are more interested in the experience

We had a great time! We could have just ended our night at the bar after meeting Jeremy, the bartender. He has such amazing energy and amazing vibes. He is living his life with such authenticity. Because this was our first time at Rey's we wanted to enjoy the table service. This is why we didn't end our night with Jeremy, the bartender. After seating at our table, we encountered more great service. I thoroughly enjoyed the gumbo and the calamari. That was the best calamari I've had I have to say. It was super delicious. The gumbo was great. Being that I'm originally from Louisiana, I have to say

Came here with high expectations after the amazing reviews I had read when researching a place for my grandparents 50th anniversary. The night started out well with attentive servers and an engaging manager, but soon started to regress as the night went on. The food was not as good as we had expected based on the high ratings, and the server started coming to us less. We made it clear how we wanted our steaks prepared and two of the steaks we ordered were not even close to what we had asked for. We waited for the server to come near us to let her know, and she didn't come until everyone was

We were sadly disappointed in our first trip to Rey's Restaurant tonight. My Mom had made reservations for my 35th Birthday and all 3 of us were first timer's to the restaurant. When we arrived we were taken through a hallway, by lockers and into a not-so-formal dining patio area that has been closed off for the winter, where a fireplace was running. Sadly, the fireplace was cut off within minutes of sitting down and we were close to an entryway and window that was left open. We were unfortunately cold for the first half of our meal. It was a busy night for Rey's but 9 tables were sat with over

Rey's is a great place to dine. The food was excellent. The calamari was outstanding. Our waitress Kelly was excellent! She is our favorite and we will only be back when she is on schedule lol.

This restaurant had most of all terrific customer service. Our waitress was superb. The food was cooked to perfection. The filet very tender & very flavorful. The veal was just scrumptious. The vegetables, string beans & mashed potatoes were excellent. Needless to say we would definitely go back. If you have room for dessert, the raspberry truffle chocolate cake was scrumptious.

I came here to celebrate my sister's 32nd birthday last night. Our server was Diana. Diana was nice enough and pleasant. She was pretty attentive initially, but the restaurant started getting busy, and it was harder to get her attention, which is fine she finally came around. Overall, good service.
We sat in the Voodoo Lounge, which accommodated our large and loud party of seven.

My entree (pictured) was delicious--steak and scallops with garlic mash potatoes. The sides are sharable. The crab cakes (not pictured) in the trio seafood appetizer tasted like imitation crab meat and like someone

Oh my gosh this place was amazing and so was our waitress Suzette. She is extremely knowledgeable and talented in her presentation of the menu and it made it possible for my beautiful wife to enjoy a meal fit for a queen on her birthday.
We ordered a lot of variety and over indulged and it was so worth it.
Thank you for the beginning of a memorable evening.

Elegant yet comfortable, food was excellent and made exactly how you expected. One caveat, I asked for my steak(filet mignon) which if not mistaken is the expensive at there to be medium well, not sure if there are different guidelines on what medium well is, but mine still had blood in it, I sent it back since I expect nothing but perfection and was then sent some burnt pieces of meat. I'm sure the chef was pissed for the meat sent back but at this type of restaurants, I expect patience from the chef. Five stars waiters, 2 stars chef and his ego. Waiters are phenomenal. It's a more

Rey's has great food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere! Me and my husband had spent our 24th wedding anniversary here and it was amazing! Rey's is a place to go for special occasions and just because. Going back again for our " just because dinner "...can't wait!

Food was generally pretty meh. The scallops appetizer was particularly unimpressive, and the sides are fine but not impressive. They weren't overdone, but they weren't well seasoned either. The chicken dish we got was executed competently, but without much imagination or flavor. We did love the Grouper Lafayette, and while the ice cream for the Banana Foster wasn't impressive the dessert itself was good. All around, just very disappointing for the price point.

This was by far a very very lovely experience. You are greater by the Manager Mike with genuine smile as soon as you arrive. Michael, the bar tender, was attentive and phenomenal and made a great wine suggestion. I was invited by a girlfriend where we went during restaurant week where there was a 4 course meal for $35. The food was hot and very good. The decor was quaint and service was very very fast. This restaurant has it together!!! I would recommend to anyone for a nice evening out or a treat to yourself. I will definitely return.

I came here for my birthday dinner with the whole family and I am not a huge fan. I do not think I will be back. The prices are very high and the food is just ok. Each appetizer is around $12. The Entrée does not come with a side dish so you have to order that separately. My favorite dish of the whole meal was the dessert - Chocolate Raspberry mousse. It was one of the best desserts I've had. Oh and the baked brie we had for the appetizer is second place :)

The two of us were feeling a fancier dinner one night and decided on Rey's! We opted for takeout because of the pandemic, but I do feel like we missed out on what would've been a nice fine dining ambiance and experience, and so I'll have to come back at a later date. The food was good, but definitely pricey for the amount you get.
The N'awlins Crab Cake appetizer was full of delicious lump crabmeat, but cost $16 for a few pieces. The Veal Marsala was alright, but probably the biggest letdown in terms of flavor . However, they were definitely generous with the amount of veal

After my daughter and I had a rather lackluster dinner at another establishment, and still feeling hungry, she suggested that we pop into Rey's for a shrimp cocktail-brilliant! It was a busy Friday evening, but we were quickly seated in the Voodoo Lounge. Now, there are a couple of things you can always count on at Rey's, consistently great food, and a strong drink! The bartender makes a mean Manhattan, so I indulged. Onto the shrimp cocktails. Four jumbo shrimp were served on a bed of mixed greens with a spicy remoulade sauce as well as a traditional red cocktail sauce. With a squeeze

Pros: Fantastic steaks. Probably the best ribeye I've had in my life. Zero complaints here. Full bar, so no shortage of liquor options. Solid dessert options as well. Chocolate truffle cake was delicious. Finally, for those with celiac, almost anything can be made gluten free as they use corn starch in their cooking process.

Cons: The sides are lackluster and a bit overpriced for what you get. No better example than the handful of small, steamed broccoli heads for $10. The "lyonnaise" potatoes were just potato slices sitting on a tiny bed of sautéed onions. Not really tossed or

Can't say enough about this gem: breads are excellent...I can dine on the many selections alone. Fresh and tasty. Steaks are incredible - even the next day (for those that you're unable to finish while seated). Best prime ribeye around. N'awlins crabcakes, turtle soup and seafood is amazing. Don't forget the decadent cherries jubilee or staple New Orleans Banana's Foster - huge portions and absolutely delicious.

It was good! Just really loud, it doesn't seem like they took a lot of social distancing measures. Drinks were good but definitely had to be slightly tipsy to enjoy the food.... food took a while to come out but they were busy. The owner nice and talked to us and yes food was good but not OUTSTANDING, had better. Definitely a little pricy for sub-par food but over all maybe a 7.5-8 out of 10. The ambiance could use a little work.

Kinda felt like you were walking into your grandparents house, but not in a good way.... we couldn't get access to the voodoo lounge like we requested and

Thank you, to Rey and staff for such a "delicious" Thanksgiving feast! I took a chance and ordered their "take out" Thanksgiving feast for my Mom and family remotely from out of state. They gave me a pick up time for her of Thanksgiving day morning which made me nervous. But thankfully everything went smoothly, there was plenty of food to go around and she said everything was delicious!

Thank you, Reys, for helping to give my family a nice Thanksgiving. It made me feel good, knowing that I could not be there in person.

I'm kinda surpised that I still haven't reviewed this place. I've been here at least 10 times now and they definitely have BEST steak in the area. It is consistently good and perfectly cooked. It's the only place I've never had to send a steak back. Why? Because they get it right in the first place. It's well seasoned and oh-so-tender! Words aren't enough- go try a filet for yourself.

Their sides are delicious but not my favorite ever, but notice I said they are delicious, so still, go have them. I love the Au Gratin potatoes. You won't regret it. My husband

Wow! Wow! Wow!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner! It was delish!! Let me just start with the customer service! Bob was our server and he was so on point with everything! Laughing and talking with us! It was great! Even the food runners were super polite and very nice and friendly!

The complimentary bread was also delish! Yummy!

Let's start with the fried oysters, OMG! They came on top of Lima beans and corn with a spicy sauce which was so damn good! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!

My husband got the chicken piccata which was absolutely delish! Just
