We’ve been to a variety of locations in Northern Minnesota, and Vosburgh’s Custom Cabin rentals has been our absolute favorite. Willy took great care of us on our 5 day fishing trip, and the cabins are incredibly nice, clean, and spacious. I highly recommend. We will be back!

A month or so ago, my husband suggested getting away somewhere up north to fish and relax. Vosburgh’s Custom Cabins was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, but the views from the screened porch were the highlight! I watched the amazing sunrises and sunsets every day. We saw bald eagles over head and deer just a few feet from our cabin. The lake is beautiful, and my husband enjoyed fishing. They had everything he needed right there. Also, it was a very dog friendly place, and our dog had a great time with all the wonderful wildlife smells. Willy

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to get away and enjoy the beauty of Northern Minnesota with our dog. Our stay exceeded our expectations and Willy and Betsy do a wonderful job! The cabin and boat were very clean and maintained well. The area has so much to do, but relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake is a great way to spend a few hours as well!

We stayed for a week at Thy's Cabin, right on the water with its own dock. The cabin is very well appointed with some lovely antiques, omfy beds, lots of quilts, three fans and a good kitchen. The Vosburghs are quality people. They came by boat regularly to pick up the recycling and trash, answered questions promptly and have a great canoe towing service as well.

My family and I spent a week at Custom Cabin Rentals in July 2021. We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful property! The staff was very accommodating and friendly! Everything was excellent from canoe rides, kayaking, hiking, to fishing trips. The property is a short 20 minute drive to Ely which has a great grocery story and wonderful restaurants. It is also very close to numerous hikes around nearby lakes. The cabin had everything we needed and was fully stocked with all the cookware necessary to prepare meals for a large family. The views from the front screened-in porch were amazing

We keep coming back year after year. Very clean comfortable cabin, excellent fishing all along the Moose lake chain. Very friendly staff who will go out their way to make your stay the best ever. We bring our own boat, but they have everything you will need to get you on the water and on the fish. Day use motor permits are required to go on the chain of lakes but they will help you all along the way to navigate the permit system. Ely is only a short drive away and is well worth spending an afternoon enjoying the shops and restaurant's. We have been coming for over 20yrs and hope to come back for

We stayed three nights on East Wind for a short family vacation. There were 5 of us; myself, my wife, our three boys (8, 6, and 2) and our dog. The cabin is on a hill facing Moose lake and the views from the large front porch are spectacular. The cabin has two pretty nice sized rooms and a loft that is perfect for kiddos. Altogether the space was more than enough for us and very comfortable. Willie and Betsy were very nice and accommodating. Our second day there we rented a boat from Willie and, thanks to his directions, spent the afternoon exploring moose lake. We also hicked the blackstone trail

Such gracious hosts. They take care of everything from boats, cabins, fishing, firewood, cleaning up after us and helping us with the fireplace! Love it here at Vosburgh’s. I am so impressed with the beauty and craftsmanship and put into building these magnificent cabins! We are in awe of it!

Just got back from an incredible stay at Vosburgh's! Willy and Betsy were extremely nice and helpful! The boats were clean and in perfect condition with excellent motors! The cabin was fantastic with the most incredible views imaginable! Willy provided us with plenty of wood for chilly mornings and evenings and helped us in every way possible! I would highly recommend this place to everyone! The hospitality, the amazing hand-made furniture, awesome cabins and stunning views made this a vacation filled with memories I'll always cherish! Custom Cabin Rental is a five star resort. There are several unique cabins, each with a spectacular view of Moose Lake. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Besides fishing, there are canoes and kayaks available as well as swimming and great hiking nearby. The boats are very well maintained and the staff is helpful with fishing suggestions. There are several lakes for fishing which makes for a different experience every day. Ely is a short drive away and provides many family activities.

We just returned from staying at cabin 8, The Hilltop Cabin. Not only was the cabin immaculate when we arrived, the screened porch, overlooking Moose Lake allowed spectacular views. This family-owned business earns five stars for cleanliness, beautiful views, access to fishing boats/ kayaks/canoes well-equipped cabins, and friendly advice/service/suggestions from the owners. We plan to return here often now that we have discovered this gem of a rental. Thank you to Willie for all your help and hospitality.
