McKinney Sew & Vac have been a family owned business serving the Greensboro, NC area for over 32 years. We sell sewing machines and vacuum cleaners by such well known and reliable manufacturers as Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Brother and Miele as well as some Royal and Sebo vacuum cleaners. For McKinney Sew & Vac, service is a huge part of our business.
Our factory trained technician has over 45 years working on sewing machines and vacuums. We are factory trained for service and repair on Singer, Pfaff, Bernina, Brother, Husqvarna Viking, Elna, Janome, Kenmore, Juki, Babylock and most all makes and models of sewing machines. We are factory trained for Miele, Sebo, Royal, Kirby, Hoover, Eureka, Electrolux, Rainbow, Simplicity, Riccar, Bissell, and most all makes.
The Dear Son quilt pattern is written as a block of the month sampler quilt. Each chapter is a row or a group of blocks with a text sentiment included. The print pattern includes all the block & finishing instructions, traceable applique templates and the techniques needed to complete the quilt in one 48 page booklet.

Blake and Sunny (forgive me if the names are wrong) were so welcoming and helpful when I brought my old machine in and toured the shop my first time there. My machine hadn't been used in years and definitely needed a tune up. Unfortunately it was broken and the plastic parts were not made anymore(mind you my machine was like a inexpensive plastic beginner machine from nearly 15 years ago) and they didnt charge me a dime. I bought my first 10 needle embroidery machine from McKinney Sew and Vac. This was years ago and they were so helpful, informative, and pleasant to deal with. I had a great experience at McKinney Sew and Vac. I was looking for a new Pfaff sewing machine. They were very nice and very knowledgeable. Even when the store started to get busy, they made sure all of my questions were answered. They explained the differences in features between the models in the line I was looking at, but didn’t try to sell me up to a more expensive machine. While I was there a customer who had been coming to them for a while couldn’t say enough about how friendly and helpful they are. Fantastic service, I couldn't be happier! I rarely write reviews but their wonderful service has driven me to.
I am self employed so being a work-from home seamstress is my full time job. I had my Janome machine serviced here back in May when my lower bobbin case was acting up. Michael sensed my urgent need for my machine back and had it serviced promptly, parts replaced and back to me within 2 days!
Now just recently my timing on my machine got messed up. (Mind you I sew nearly every single day, so that's a lot of sewing miles!) I took it in again. Michael once again sensed my urgency (I was

I bought my sewing machine 3 years ago from McKinney Sew and Vac. They make sure you learn all there is to know about the machine with one- on-one sessions with Mike McKinney. I have also enjoyed taking sewing classes with Carol. Classes are small, so lots of individual attention. Customer service is great whether you are dealing with Mike, Carol, or Blake McKinney.
