Twenty five years ago, when we first opened Lemon Grass Restaurant, we had to run down to the farmer's market every weekend, hording all the rau ram (Vietnamese coriander) and rau que (Asian basil) that we could find to stock up for the week. We begged, pleaded with this one herb grower to grow more variety so that we could cook up the dishes we wanted.
We may have amazing food but it's the staff that makes our restaurant. Thanks to their dedication, general manager Kate Griffin and Chef Quyen Ha have worked hard with their teams to make Lemon Grass one of the mostly highly regarded restaurants in Sacramento year after year. I ordered the crispy veggie rolls and they were amazing so good!! The salad of greens with noodles was a beautiful presentation. Then I got the veggie pad Thai… so good!! Big portions and not greasy or heavy!! Definitely my new favorite Thai restaurant in Sacramento!! Will be back!! And very nice restaurant spacious and clean!!! Great staff! Cooks.

This was a wonderful dining experience a kind of upscale I love the fact that there are glass windows around the dining area the demographics are a little bit older so there weren't a lot of screaming hollering kids. it was a nice relaxed atmosphere that offered great service wonderful food, an upscale atmosphere and it really was a nice surprise to find such a dining experience here in Sacramento I really recommend this as a date night location for couples looking to leave the kids behind and recreate a moment of magic.

We went to Lemon Grass on Thursday night. It was not busy at all. There were 7 in our party. We were seated quickly. Everything was perfect. Our waitress was fabulous and the food was delicious. Everyone loved what they ordered. I've never had ginger ice cream and it was yummy too. This was my 2nd time going to this restaurant and I've lived here forever. I need to get there more often because the selection is great and prices are reasonable.

Wonderful experience from start to finish -- and be sure to finish with the ginger ice cream! Interesting libations. Shaking beef was incredibly tender. Curious watermelon shrimp appetizer sounded really odd, and was worth the try. Well spaced, covid-appropriate even inside. Attentive service throughout. All ages. Date night recommendation!

Great service, this restaurant has been a favorite of my parents and whenever I am visiting we always go there. This time was real special with all the family. We were seated in the private dining room and never had an empty glass throughout dinner. Very attentive staff. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and dessert.
