My family and I are new to Baltimore, and I was looking for a dentist that would be gentle, kind, patient, and thorough. This was especially important to me because it was going to be my toddler's first time to a dentist. Shelton Family Dental is just the place I was looking for. First off, I thought parking might be an issue because there is no lot--street parking on 33rd or nearby streets is available--but I left myself plenty of time and then found a spot right in front. Second, patient intake was smooth: forms were entered online before the visit and just required signing upon arrival. Daunting

Great friendly staff that is helpful and caring. Dr. B. Shelton & Dr. C. Shelton are attentive, know their patients on a personal level and assure all patients are given great service. I have been a faithful patient for many years and refuse to go anywhere else. I travel the distance from home for the service!

Shelton Family Dental is housed in a converted row house. The outside is fairly plan, but the first floor has been recently renovated. During our first visit, lots of established patients remarked that things looked so good since they had last been there. The treatment rooms have not been updated yet and we didn't have a chance to ask if there are plans to renovate them.
The practice is following Covid-19 protocols well, checking temperatures before anyone is allowed upstairs, as well as oxygenation status, and requiring masks.

I have attended this dental office since I was a child. The office is like home. Both dentists are knowledgeable, competent, empathetic and caring. They really care about oral health but also about the patient as an individual. Recently they renovated downstairs and it looks amazing! If you have reservations about seeing a dentist, this is the place to go because they will make you feel welcomed and safe.

This place is BLACK owned and definitely safe for black people to visit. I've had my best dental experiences here and I plan to make this my permanent general dentist. Something about this office just feels like home. Dr.Shelton is so kind, extremely thorough and attentive to my needs. He always makes sure I fully understand my medical options and takes the extra time to answer any questions and concerns I have. This office is also well connected, so his referrals to other dental specialists were always high quality and top notch. Thank y'all so much, God bless everyone in that office.
