What the cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear are questions we get all of the time. You are in luck! In many cases, vision plans and medical insurance coverage can lower these annual expenses. Still have questions? Would you like to wear contact lenses? If so, in addition to your comprehensive eye exam, we can perform a contact lens exam which is the first step necessary in the process of fitting contact lenses. In some cases, Dr. Johnson will need to perform multiple diagnostic steps to produce a contact lens prescription for you.
Dry eye is a condition in which there are insufficient tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Dry eye is a common problem and when it becomes chronic it is referred to as dry eye syndrome. Symptoms of dry eye syndrome range from grittiness and scratchiness to blurred and impaired vision. Dry eye syndrome is a chronic and often progressive condition affecting the surface of the eyes.

I love Dr. Johnson and her staff. She is so caring and never in a hurry. I’ve seen her for everything from eye injuries to contact fittings, and my experiences have been wonderful. I always leave her office in a better mood than when I arrived.
Additionally, the service her clinic provides is really top notch. I was traveling recently and realized one of the monthly contacts I brought with me had a flaw in it. They immediately ordered replacement lenses and even shipped them to where I was staying out of state! Not only that- they sent me 3 months of contacts for both eyes, all at no charge

Was on a day trip with my 90 year old dad who broke the nose piece on his glasses. iCareFamily Vision was the eye care center we were close to so we stopped in to see if they could help.
I walked out with a huge smile for they were friendly, generous and solved the issue. And the frame choices in their shop reminded me of being in a candy store; variety and colorful. Thanks much!

I had a great experience here. It was incredibly easy to set up appointments via email and text. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the product. They have a good variety of frames and there were no surprises in the billing - everything was explained well. Finally, Elizabeth is a friendly optometrist who made the experience a breeze.

Nothing but great things to say about iCare Family Vision! I called in because they are one of the only shops in the area (maybe even the entire State) that are partners with Vaurnet designer sunglases to get prescription lenses. I called in and was set up with a measurement appointment the next day for the right fit. They gave me an estimate of 4-5 weeks to receive the sunglasses and sure enough, right on time. Very happy with my experience and will buy from again... Of course I had to go with the new 'No Time To Die" pair.

Talk about a FANTASTIC experience, everything from the staff, to the warm office environment, to the doctor herself! Dr. Johnson is the definition of a wonderful doctor - she's attentive, kind, understanding, and patient. She absolutely puts her patients first and understands what it's like to be in our shoes, nervous about our eye health and wanting some answers. She takes her time to answer all questions and makes sure that you feel comfortable when you're in her office as well as on the way out. When no other doctor could squeeze me in for an appointment for 2 weeks out, she got me in right

Thorough & highly professional. The doctor listens & is patient. I feel like I have a very tough prescription and the Doctor was very solutions-focused. Jeff did a great job explaining my benefits & helping me select frames that not only suited my face but suited my prescription. I cannot say enough positive things about everyone at ICare. I got a thorough eye examination and Dr. Johnson truly talked to me not at me. Jason got me hooked up with the best pair of frames and lenses I have ever owned. There was no up-selling nor pressure and he answered all of my question intelligently and honestly. I went back 6 weeks later get a pair of single focus computer glasses. Both pairs have made getting past 40 infinitely easier.
