Each year, countless windshields are needlessly replaced as a result of rock chips that were not repaired. Often these "dings" don't spread for several weeks, months or more after the initial damage, until extreme changes in weather, altitude or sudden impact cause the windshield to crack from the chip.
An ever increasing number of cars on the road today are equipped with Advanced Driving Assist Systems (ADAS) such as Lane Departure Warning System and Forward Collision Alert, often with the camera mounted to the windshield. Auto makers require recalibration of these cameras after a windshield replacement in order to ensure proper function and return to OEM specifications.
Although windshield chip repairs are extremely effective in preventing further cracking of the windshield, there is a.1% chance of failure. In the unlikely event that a windshield chip we repaired does not hold, we would apply the amount paid for the chip repair toward a windshield replacement. My car was broken into via the passenger door window and I was in a pinch to get it fixed. I usually go to the dealership to have my car serviced but they didn’t have the window in stock and couldn’t guarantee to have it done in time for when I needed my car back. Ladan was so prompt and very responsive when I made my initial inquiry regarding my car’s windshield. She updated me regularly and was able to fulfill her promise on helping me out and securing the day for my windshield’s replacement. Driving from Contra Costa to Marin I noticed a chip in my windshield, one sure to grow if not immediately addressed. I pulled in to Auto Glass Express 30 minutes before closing. They took care of me right away. While the guy did the work the lady at the desk guided me through the process of getting a referral from Geico explaining that they waive the deductible for this kind of repair. She billed Geico and not me! Great place, this. Thank you!

I got my passenger front window on my car replaced today. From the first phone call, I knew my car was in good hands. They scheduled an appointment for me quickly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Auto Glass Express is 5 stars EVERY TIME! I've been doing business with them for over 5 years, multiple vehicles and their customer service is always top notch. Their technicians are excellent and always do a great job. In the rare event I've noticed even a small defect in either the glass or trim surrounding the glass (I'm very particular about my vehicles) Allison and Ladon stand by their work 100% of the time, always making sure I am completely satisfied.
