Racist staff, someone recently went in to find fabric for traditional Hanbok clothing that he makes and was laughed at and disrespected the entire time he was there.

I couldn't believe how he was treated. Absolutely horrible.

So happy with the gorgeous pillows and slipcovers this company made for me. I desperately needed covers for our dining room chairs and they made very tailored looking covers for them! The slipcovers were made so tailored and to perfection!

Bettertex is one of the best companies i have ever done business with. Jack and Albert are so kind and generous, thorough and ethical. Their work is of the highest quality. they are reasonably priced and go an extra ten miles to please the customer. if you need custom made things for your home, there is no better place than Bettertex! And btw they made slipcovers for my sofa and chairs that fit so well, you can't tell they are slipcovers. It looks like a regular sofa and chair. I spilled coffee on one of them, took it off, had it cleaned, and put it right back on

I Bought into bettertex two goose down feather insert size 24x24 and two yards of emboss 100% navy silk to have two custom made pillows constructed. I made the arrangements with the design professional Jack the return pickup time was swift and the custom made outcome of the two pillows are breathtakingly beautiful meeting all my request and my expectation. I look forward to a continuing client/design ventures with bettertex.

I found Bettertex during surfing the internet. I contacted them via email with a picture of the swing chair that needed to be reupholstered. Albert sent me immediately a quote with a recommendation to select materials from their show room. At the show room I met Jack who was very helpful in picking the material without any salesman’s pressure. The old chair was picked up from our apartment as scheduled. The newly upholstered chair was delivered on time. The workmanship is excellent, the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend Bettertex for your next project.

I am very happy I decided to re-upholster my furniture instead of buy a new set.

We had a couch and two armchairs bought a little over 10 years ago. They were well-used and the fabric was worn out. The pieces were built solid but the fabric was the issue.

I called up Better Tex and Albert encouraged me to come down to their showroom. This was after I had gotten 2 expensive quotes. I'm glad I went down to see them.

They have hundreds of different fabrics and both Albert and the other gentleman made great suggestions (based on wall color, flooring, lighting, etc). I decided on a cream fabric

I got a new slip cover for my couch and it looks amazing, like a brand new expensive couch. The fabric is wonderful and the craftsmanship is outstanding. They also did the entire process (measurements - install) in less than a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always attentive to any question I had. Def recommend!

I went to Bettertex to inquire about having a slipcover made for my sofa, expecting that it would look like a slipcover, and that I'd remove it when I had company. As it turned out, the slipcover fits so tightly & so well, you can't tell it's a slipcover. Plus it's fastened with velcro underneath the sofa, so it's easy to remove and wash. I also had extra covers made for the cushions and armrests, and was so delighted with the whole project, I decided to have slipcovers made for my two chairs as well. He had the fabric I wanted at a good price, but he also took the time to show me many options, and the entire transaction was a very satisfying one. I recently shot a fashion advertising campaign for a venerable French shoe company. It was shot in a boudoir setting that required extensive set building. Bettertex along with a set designer was able to produce draperies, upholstery, pillows and bed coverings with the utmost professionalism, quality and craftsmanship in a timely manner! They are a rare gem to be found in this day and age!

Just purchased a custom slipcover from Bettertex. It wasn't cheap, but it's true that you get what you pay for. It was created quickly and fits our unique couch structure like a glove. Highly recommended.

I was originally concerned about some of the negative reviews for BetterTex. We contacted them regarding a slipcover replacement, they replied with a quote within the same day, we chose fabric from a large selection in their Manhattan showroom and the slipcover arrived on time and on budget (we saved $300.00 over the next cheapest source). Every interaction with them was professional, courteous and accurate. I highly recommend them based on our experience with them.

I could not be happier with the service and products delivered. I had 2 sets of slipcovers made. They were on time for the measurements and delivery. The fit is perfect and the help I received was superior. I recommend this company without qualms.

I recently moved in my new apartment, I was refereed by and friend to Use Bettertex Interiors for all my Upholstery and Custom draperies . I was extremely Satisfied with there work, I Appreciate the way they work with you and try to see and understand your vision and also if I had any request such as Fabric samples they mail there directly to my appartment. some company just sell you services and names but not well executed work and product, every thing Bettertex did in my appartment was well done I would recommend Bettertex Interiors to any one in the future commercial or residential

The worst company I ever dealt with. I have used them for one of my high end city renovations project and dealing with them was the worse nightmare ever. Bettertex was to do a leather upholstery on sofa seat, back cushion, and two ottomans. They missed the deadline by three weeks. Once the product was delivered it was of a inferior quality as far as the craftsmanship goes. Bettertex had to remove the above mentioned items and have it done right. After another six weeks of wasting my time calling them about the delivery, going there personally to check the quality of the work , they were paid for

This business came to install the very expensive Hunter Douglas blinds I purchased through them. Showed up without proper tools, ( hammering w/ a wrench ) nothing to cover my property and nothing to clean the absolute mess they made of my apt. ( asking ME for a paper towel ?? to clean construction level dust after drilling a couple of dozen holes into the plaster/concrete window area !!!! ) Standing on my furniture to reach window. It gets better. After installing 1 3/12 ft blind, it crashed to the floor. There's more but.. long story short DO NOT do business with them

I had 4 dining chairs, a lounge chair and ottoman reupholstered by Bettertex. They did a superb job and the pieces are better than new. I also found fabric I liked at Bettertex after searching everywhere.

I asked for pre-shrunk slipcovers that could be washed and laundered. They assured me that they pre-shrunk the fabric for machine washing and drying. They DID NOT!
What a waste of money! They completely shrunk after the first washing and drying.

We just finished a project with Bettertex and we are beyond pleased. They made three sets of top down/bottom up Roman Shades and curtains to match. They also made a beautiful custom daybed to go in a bay seating area. The fabric, the quality of the work, and their willingness to make everything perfect was beyond anything I could have imagined. We live in a brownstone, so the walls aren't perfectly straight and things are a little off. For some people, this is frustrating. Bettertex appreciated the character of the home, welcomed the challenge, and worked to make our living room a room

I like this place. They have really nice fabrics, and are pretty helpful. They won't bother to ask you if you need help knowing you are a student looking for fabric - so ask straight up if there is something you want.
