After a number of years as a Senior Associate at well-regarded Lane, Altman & Owens, LLP in the financial district of Boston, he left to establish DiPiano Family Law Group P.C.
While it is always best to minimize conflict and keep couples out of court sometimes the issues can only be resolved through the family courts. Divorce litigation is when couples cannot agree on a fair settlement and going to family court is the only option. The scale of the disagreements is a determining factor in whether or not going you'll likely end up in court.

We recognize this is a difficult and emotional time for separating parents. I was represented by John DiPiano and his associate Alexandra Celli, and I could not be happier with their efforts and attentivness. I was in a custody battle, for my son, and was being represented by a different firm before switching over to John. My only regret is, I didn't discover him earlier. If you want to spend a lot of money, this is your guy! First of all, he charges big firm Boston rates in his dingy little space in Salem. But you don't get a big firm. All you get is this guy in his cheap little space. But worst of all, this guy and the word negotiation are like oil and water. So, with no negotiation what happens? You get a long, drawn out process while his cash register just keeps ringing up charges to you. Want to learn about Italy? At $400 per hour? Because he will start his clock running, and talk about himself all day long! And then he will tell you that you'll get
