At Buckmiller Sprinkler, we understand that for our clients, peace of mind is the most important thing. We offer routine sprinkler system testing and fire sprinkler inspection programs based on NFPA 25 guidelines. We can guide you through the entire process: from filing the necessary paperwork, making repairs and more.
No, when we inspect home sprinkler systems we make sure it's as non-invasive as possible. In general we check the water level in your tanks, make sure your valves are open, and that your sprinklers aren't obstructed or blocked with boxes or other material. As required by NFPA 25, a copy of our inspection report must be left at the premises and if you've lost your copy, we can send another.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband who is facilities manager for a high end restaurant group across Manhattan. He uses Buckmiller for six different venues. He had previously used cheaper vendors that were in place when he assumed responsibility for some of the locations he manages. Buckmiller may cost more than some competitors but money and many headaches are avoided by using someone competent and knowledgeable who will avoid violations for your establishment. I have been a customer of Buckmiller Automatic Sprinkler for several years now and found them to be absolutely dependable and consistently attentive to my concerns. We hired buckmiller to service our fitness studio's sprinkler systems. When COVID hit, and we were unable to pay our bills, we told buckmiller we would be suspending our service and returning when we reopened.
They decided it would be appropriate to call DOB and tell them to go inspect all of our closed studios, at a time when we could not afford to keep the lights on.
If I could give 0 stars I would. If I could file a lawsuit, I would. Absolutely disgusting business practices. Choose literally ANY OTHER VENDOR than these crooks.

Buckmiller was recommended to me by a friend with a brownstone in the West Village a year and a half ago. I hired them for monthly sprinkler inspections in my UWS brownstone. Sometimes you have to check that you are being billed correctly but they are very responsive to revising invoices once you ask for corrections. Larry is pretty much available 24/7 and will make very good referrals if what you need is not what they do. They really helped and fought for us when the FD gave contradictory instructions regarding red paint on risers. Reading the other review, though, makes me want to check back about quarterly fees.
