Services
Sprinkler Fitters and Apprentices Local 696 is dedicated to the education and training of its members. We strive to stay abreast of the continual evolution of fire sprinkler systems and fire safety regulations. Our Journeymen and Apprentices are among the best trained in the world.
Continuing Education classes are offered on a regular basis to our Journeymen to keep them abreast of changes and trends in the sprinkler industry through classes at our training center with our certified instructors.In addition, our apprentices are given hands on training in our state of the art valve rooms.

Sprinkler fitters are pipefitting specialists in fire protection. They install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems. While most of this work deals directly with automatic sprinkler systems they also have the skills necessary to install and service a wide variety of other fire protection equipment such as standpipes, carbon dioxide systems, halon systems, foam systems and dry chemical systems.
