Our family decided to build a pool/spa this past year. We knew nothing about the process, nor did we have any recommendations. We googled several companies , looked at their galleries and just started calling. Several companies never returned my call and others talked over my head without even coming to my house. Then there was Mr. Cliff (Emerald Pools). Mr. Cliff returned my call and set a time to come over the following week. He took our input and wishes and turned them into something better than we could ever have imagined. The timeframe was right after the winter storm, which caused a delay

Working with Cliff from Emerald Pools was about as easy as one could hope. From start to finish we were guided through the process. All interactions went through Cliff; he laid out the details of what to expect every step of the way. It was one of the few experiences I've had where a contractor actually overdelivered. We are quite happy with the results.

As a custom homebuilder in Highland Park I work with a lot of subcontractors and suppliers and I wish all of them would operate on the level of Cliff. What I like best is his great service and excellent communication. He does what he says he's going to do. He always answers when I call (very important!). My pools go in smoothly without a hitch time after time. And I get many compliments on our designs, water features, entire outdoor living areas, etc. I highly him and Emerald Pools.

We could not be happier that we chose to work with Cliff at Emerald Pools. From the design process to the end result everything was easy and seamless and well ahead of schedule! No question we had went unanswered and no calls or texts went unreturned. We would not consider working with any other pool builder in the future.

We hired Cliff (Emerald Pools) after interviewing x4 different pool builders in the area. He by far seemed to be the most experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and honest of all. His pricing was very reasonable in comparison as well.
He explained the entire process completely prior and worked with us on pricing (including providing a very grateful Veteran Discount). Once the dig started, he led every step of the way, coordinated directly with all sub-contractors, and his communication daily was outstanding. The whole project from start to finish took about a month, which I was so surprised

Cliff is one of the most impressive designer and builders of pools I have ever met. He brings a unique perspective to every back yard. His start to finish involvement doesn't end when the job is complete because he stands behind the product with an unmatched commitment to service.
He refuses to be a cookie-cutter builder. Just take a look at his photos and you'll see his pools are not only well suited to the space in which they lie, but are functional as well.
