Dr. McCarty grew up in upstate New York and attended Binghamton University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.

This was my first time there. The staff made me feel welcomed from the time I stepped in the door. Good selection of office music. It made me smile and snap my fingers. Dr McCarty is very nice and has a soft touch. I felt comfortable and relaxed in her care. I would highly recommend Dr McCarty to anyone.

Most importantly, my appointment was for noon and they called me back at noon. Nothing worse that waiting 30 mins. Front desk could not have been nicer people. Dr. McCarty is very friendly and even a little funny at times I despise going to the dentist. So, the fact I decided to write a review says everything. Highly recommend.

Dr. McCarty provided the most comfortable dental experience I have ever had. She was very thorough and explained procedures. She is pleasant and truly congenial. You can simply tell she has a great personality, appreciable “bed side manner”, and substantial knowledge of her craft. 10 stars for Ryan and the rest of the staff.

I recently moved to the area and needed a new dentist. I had tried a few different dentists in the area before landing on Southern MD Family Dental, and now my search has ended. Dr. McCarty and her staff were very pleasant and professional. I have been to a number of dentists in my life and they are by far the best. I would highly recommend giving Dr. McCarty and crew a visit!
