Since 2009, we are pleased to say that we have made over $450,000 in improvements to our facility, furnishings and grounds, all to provide a more comfortable and useful environment to serve you better.We provide off-street parking for over 60 vehicles and seating for around 125 people. Most importantly we are committed to providing personal service to every family selecting our firm.

Cremation is one form of final disposition for the deceased. Its most basic definition is a process of reducing the human body to bone fragments by flame and heat. These bone fragments are referred to as cremated remains or "ashes". A request for cremation refers only to the manner in which your loved one has chosen to deal with their physical remains.
Since 1936 the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home has served the needs of those in our community who experience the death of a loved one. Our commitment is to honor the life of the deceased by providing funeral services reflective of their personal values and beliefs and provide comfort to those left behind.
Upon request, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will provide, at no charge, a Government headstone or marker for the grave of any eligible deceased veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. Flat markers in granite, marble, and bronze and upright headstones in granite and marble are available.
A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a veteran's military service to his or her country. Generally, the flag is given to a family member after it's use during the funeral service.

We were fortunate enough to have used Hopler & Eschbach when my mother recently passed away.
It was a very chaotic and emotional time but Kurt made the entire process very personal and calming.
Sitting down with Kurt to make the funeral arrangements was very cathartic and he took the time to bring up things we had never considered.
Kurt really had our family's best interest in mind and nothing about the way the experience was handled felt like it was "just business". Kurt was always available anytime, day or night and his entire staff really cares. Hopler & Eschbach obviously has a strong sense

Of course Mr. Eschbach was professional in greeting my family at the door of his establishment. He took the time to walk us through the expenses and the burial arrangements.

If I had to put a number to rate this funeral home I would say there’s not a number because they are just amazing. I’ve never would have thought I would of experienced such a tragedy at such a young age. I was so lost not knowing which way to turn to lay my beautiful angel to rest And as soon as I walked into Hopler&Eschbach I just felt so… comforted by Kurt. I couldn’t thank everyone there enough for their compassion and great experience I’ve had. I wouldn’t of chose any other place to help put my daughter to rest. Kurt and his team made a sad time, very easy to deal with. My father passed later in the evening at home. Kurt and his team showed up very shortly after they were called and handled everything. The next day at his funeral home there was no high pressure to do anything. They laid out all of the options and the related costs. His team took care of the death certificate, notifying Social Security, and all of the other little things you don't even think about. In the end he and his team took care of everything for an honest price. They were about making sure the family and loved one were taken care

Kurt Eschbach was an an absolute professional and was so helpful, courteous, and humane when I had to make arrangements across the country for my father. I stumbled across Hopler & Eschbach's website when I was trying to find another funeral home and was impressed by the webpage which explained clearly and concisely that they accompany the body at every step of the cremation process and warned of funeral homes that might never touch the body but instead hire third parties to transport over to Pennsylvania crematories. That might not be bad necessarily but I didn't like the thought

Hopler & Eschbach just handled the funeral arrangements for my sister in law. We have actually used this establishment three times in the last few years. Kurt has always been very compassionate, caring and kind. He answered all the questions we had. We wanted a very personal meaningful family oriented service and it truly was exactly what we wanted it to be. His staff was also very kind and caring. The facilities are beautiful and his prices are far less than what a lot of the other funeral homes in town are getting. Our family will be coming back here to be sure and I would definitely recommend
