Dr Halbrecht was very thorough and explained all the alternatives with pros and cons that allowed me to make an informed decision on next steps.
The surgery went extremely well and I feel confident to have a speedy recovery. The staff was very pleasant and made me fill secure and comfortable pre and post surgery! A top notch staff that I would highly recommend to anyone!

Jeffrey Halbrecht is a great orthopedic surgeon. I had a torn biceps longhead along with some tear in the labrum in the shoulder joint. He fixed them both in one surgery. The recovery time was super fast. A few weeks after the surgery I have pretty good mobility and on a good way to full recovery. Scheduling operating room was really quick and painless. I got in a few days after the initial exam. I felt he informed me about the risks, and tradeoffs, and he was supportive throughout the process. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I am lucky to find the best Arthroscopic surgeon in San Francisco. Dr. Halbrecht conducted surgery for my complex rotator cuff injury (two tendons and bicep tendon) now I am recovering well. I requested for an earlier surgery as I need to take care of my daughters wedding and both doctor and his staff worked hard on getting it scheduled early (within two weeks of my injury) and took care of my all my needs. It is two weeks since my surgery and now I am off pain medication and waiting to start PT.

Dr. Halbrecht and his staff were extremely professional and friendly. The doctor examined and treated my arthritic knee and explained what I needed to do to prepare for eventual knee replacement. Dr. Halbrecht was recommended to me by a friend and I highly recommend Dr. Halbrecht to anyone who suffers from any joint pain or disorder.

Dr. Halbrecht is an absolute professional with a wonderful bedside manner and consistently demonstrates care for his patients well being. I have visited other orthopedic surgeons who seem to have tried to make surgery the first option. Dr. Halbrecht selected the treatment best suited for my issue even if it wasn’t surgery. I recommend him as the first stop for anyone who needs an orthopedic consultation.

I got the feeling that Dr Halbrecht is really great. Unfortunately he no longer performs total shoulder replacements so this turned out to be a consultation. But we communicated at a high level of understanding, he's clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. Inspires confidence that whatever you need, he can do.
