We had Magna Shutters install our shutters the end of July. We are extremely happy with them and love the way our place looks with them. Miguel and Sandra were wonderful from start to finish. They both were very helpful with the initial visit explaining the different types of shutters they offer and going over the different samples they brought. I loved the fact they are family owned and install the shutters themselves. Miguel oversees the installation process and is extremely knowledgeable with the process. I’m pleased with my transaction with Magna Shutters. The experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Sandra and Miguel were very professional. Needed replacement of shutters that had broken, Magna Shutters made it easy simple, and a hassle free job. I was sold on there website, they promised and delivered . Sandra was thorough and matched us with the perfect product. Miguel suggested removing the window sill for a much cleaner look and glad he did. I was just cut off this morning by one of your drivers. I think you need to recommend driving school. Then he flipped me off as I got pushed into another lane where the cars had to brake to let me over. Not to mention he had about 2 miles of road to speed match and merge over... Absolutely the best experience we have had with a contractor, or should I say Artist. Miguel was able to do what others said was impossible (a bay window issue) and artistically matched all of hour shutters throughout the house. We have an old Victorian house (built in 1896) and wanted plantation shutters installed. Because of the detailed architecture, we needed to be careful about sizing, frame style etc. Magna was GREAT about respecting the style of the house and making sure the shutters looked like they were originally “part” of the house, not an “add on”. Their attention to detail was awesome, and just what we needed. Our shutters look PERFECT! We highly recommend Magna Shutters! Great family team! The wife runs the office and is the main point of contact. She was great at keeping me updated on when the shutters would arrive. The husband and son do the install and they were super quick and thorough. From the meeting for the quote to the installation, it was a pleasure working with them. They gave me a better price point than the other two places that came by and they also offer a cash discount. I highly recommend them!

My wife has searched at yelp and asked for quotes from some top rating providers. We were very confused about all the analysis about different types of shutters by the sales rep who come for doing initial consultation, and we were told that we need to do some preparation of our windows by ourselves before installation. What a great experience. Magna Shutters installed our new Hunter Douglas motorized cellular shades beautifully, with clean workmanship and accurate placement resulting in a very smooth operation of the blinds. We went with Magna Shutters to install plantation shutters in the whole house after reading great reviews. Just like what other have said, Sandra was very patient and explained all the different options at the initial estimation; the workmanship of Miguel and his son was also superb.
It turned out that there was a defect in one set of the louvers, Sandra and Miguel took care of it by contacting the manufacturer for brand new replacement and coming back to swap out the bad part without us doing anything. This company's van was driving recklessly through the streets in Mountain View and tailgating everyone and cutting off everyone. For someone driving a vehicle that is representing your company they really are giving you a bad name.... seeing a company van driving this horrible would make me think twice about how reckless the worker is and therefore I would be scared that they race through their jobs too... not a good representation of the company. They could've caused an accident.

This review is long overdue. I had Miguel and Sandra come out and provide me with a quote for some shutters downstairs. They were very informative and easy to follow with no pressure. I had several other companies come out for a quote but they provided the best price for a great product (Norman Shutters). They came out and did an amazing job installing the shutters. Can't say enough good things about Magna Shutters. Sandra & Miguel came out, measured everything and explained the difference between the various brands available and why they prefer installing Norman over other brands. Miguel knows his stuff when it comes to all the custom options and trim types, and Sandra has a huge selection of blinds samples. They are both so professional and courteous, turned up on time when they said they would, and after the job was done wanted to make sure we were happy with every shutter and blind before they left.

Miguel is the definition of superb customer service. I am not easy to impress and I have to say Miguel and his assistant were by far the best installers I have dealt with. We purchased a new home and chose silhouettes as window treatments. Miguel and his assistant were extremely careful throughout the installation and accommodated all of my requests while they were installing the Silhouettes.
I highly recommend Miguel as an installer, he goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are 100% satisfied.
