We RISE Yoga offers specialized Yoga classes around the Las Vegas valley, and Yoga certification courses in R.I.S.E. Yoga, a trauma sensitive instructor course accredited by the Yoga Alliance. We Rise Yoga has teamed up with some terrific partners both in offering continuing education credits in courses, but also in our class offerings giving our certified teachers the ability to teach in some wonderful environments.
Yoga course is suitable for yoga teachers, mental health professionals, counselors, behavioral therapists, or anyone who would like to educate themselves on how trauma or long-term stress can affect the brain and body. Our expert instructors will introduce students to the core concepts of how the brain and body are both affected by trauma and how it can have lasting effects.

Alexis founded We RISE Yoga on the premise that through movement, thought, and mindful meditation, individuals can learn to heal themselves from within. My mantra is simple, "Look at the past, work on the present and begin to move toward a new future." The first step to healing and working on trauma is to realize a problem exists, to then reach out and ask for help.
Yoga Recover Inspired Self Empowerment is excited to bring you a strategically designed course program to help bring mindful movement and meditation practices into your daily practice.
Whether you're a Practicing Clinical Professional, Therapist, Nurse, or just someone who wants to understand the science behind how traumatic events, or persistent intense stressful situations can change the physiology of the brain and the body, and why this type of movement and meditation can help to heal the lasting impressions/symptoms from the debilitating trauma/stress, this course is for you!

I recommend that all yoga teachers take this training. To be completely honest I’ve learned so much this weekend, probably more helpful/useful information than I received during the trauma section of my yoga teacher training. The organization seems to be very involved with the local community, which is something I really like too.
