Matt stuck with us after years of trying to get approved for a loan. Once we finally received approval, he was very informative about what we needed to look for when buying an older house (which we wanted). He wasn't simply trying to 'make a sale' and always told us the truth about problem areas to be concerned with. It was a great experience. So far, I've used Matt and Melissa to purchase my home, rent out my home after a few years, and ultimately sell it. Each time, they have gone above and beyond what I would normally expect of a realtor team. There are a lot of traits they have that you take for granted until you work with someone who doesn't have them: accountability, expertise, and honesty to name a few. Matt and Melissa helped me and my wife avoiding a big mistake one day before closing on a property. I was referred to Matt through a mutual friend and invited him one day before I close, he gave me a realistic evaluation to the property, surrounding, schools...etc.

Matt and Melissa were great at helping me purchase my first home. I went into the process having a vague idea of where I wanted to live and at times in the process, needed time to re-evaluate what I wanted and he was extremely patient and not pushy the entire time which I really appreciated. What I appreciated most was when I found the right home, how on top of everything he was. We ran into some negotiations over the HVAC system and he kept me in the loop every step of the way and even offered to cover the costs of bringing out a 3rd company to look at the system. Breakaway with Matt and Melissa is absolutely fantastic. I have worked with them now on 4 purchases/sells, and each time they have gone above and beyond to help get all the details right., therefore making my experience much less difficult even when we were dealing with difficult personalities on the other side.
