Came in 3 days after they opened. Stayed until Oct. 9th. Very good experience here. 1 of the best small campgrounds ive stayed in. The owner is super nice. Very well maintained park. Clean shower rooms and laundry room on site. Firewood cut onsite by the park host/maintenance guy. Propane for sale on site. Within minutes of groceries, restaurants. Short drive down to South Bend and Benton Harbor for tourist attractions.
I will definitely stay here again if im in the area.
Thank you so much for allowing me to stay for the summer.

Long pull through sites, quiet campground with fun old fashion shuffleboard. Prices are great and it is nice they space campers out when they are not busy. Bathroom were clean.

This could be so much better. Many sites are face to face.
Thus puts 10 feet between you and the neighbors, sharing a common space.
I don't camp to sit nearly under my neighbors awning.
Many long term campers here, plenty that seem no longer road worthy.
Our neighbor seems to have adopted a stray cat, but to keep the chipmunks from being cat food, the neighbor has thrown approximately 100 moth balls under their camper.
This is a horrible smell, that spreads out very easily on humid evenings.
The rates are for 2 people. Kids are extra.
Visitors are extra, and for a limited time.

This is a super laid back campground! They do have a few rules but nothing out of the ordinary! The owner was a very nice woman and the camp host was great too. This is a quiet campground and some great fishing in the ponds... even if you dont keep them it's still fun to catch a bunch! The laundry facility was very clean and nice clean washers and dryers along with nice restrooms and shower house. Owner and camp host stayed on top of mowing and trimming of trees and filling potholes that have happened over time. We enjoyed our 10 day stay and will come back when we are in the area again.

Giga, the owner was awesome. Very nice park mostly seasonal but we are traveling along the Great Lakes and 1/2 hr away. They are updating the facilities which are very clean and neat even the ones not updated yet. I would definitely stay again. I have a 42' w/toad and they are big rig friendly for the moat part. Make sure to ask if sites are facing each other or normal. They have a nice little fishing pond, great big dog park and playground. This is 15 mins from Mishawaka, IN fairly large city with plenty of everything. Wish there were a few signs for road ways.

Wonderful quaint and quiet place. Beautiful and clean. Nature trails, fishing pond and super helpful, nice staff. Arrived here late at night after being very unhappy with a different campground and the woman on the phone without hesitation allowed me to drive in and find an open site at this campground and settle up in the morning. She was more than accommodating and we were so thankful. We will for sure be back. There are trees throughout and so peaceful.

We stopped here for three nights to visit with family as we continue our cross country trip. What a great find!! Level, gravel lots with tons of green space. For kids, there's a large playground along with three ponds (two for catch/release small fish; one for swimming). For pets, there are several parks and nature walks. The staff is great and maintains the sites very well.

Restrooms and showers are updated and very clean.

Pro tips: the WiFi, while free, is spotty. LTE isn't the strongest here, either. If that matters to you, bring a booster or your own WiFi. The water is cloudy

Very sweet woman who ran it, I think it's perfect for RV camping! But as a tent camper. It's very close to the highway and all i could hear was the traffic, and there was no hot water in the shower, but she did refund my money, I left 2 nights early. Very clean, and for 20 bucks you get alot of wood!

Very well kept up campground. Extras that you don't usually see, like a fish cleaning building.
Friendly campers too.

Stayed at Spaulding Lake and Campground after losing our Memorial Day spot at at local KOA due to flooding. What an awesome surprise to not only find a spot but at such a special place!! Spaulding's is a quiet, quaint little spot. The owners are friendly and made sure we were taken care of after learning of our trouble. The ponds(3) are full of fish and they are ready to be caught. Most were small so threw them all back. The playground was well maintained and very clean. Bath houses are older but very clean and well stocked. Wi-fi is free and has very good reception. Other campers were very

Spaulding Lake and Campground is a very nice campground, friendly managers who have been there for 50 years. It is quiet, yet neighborly for those who enjoy walking the grounds. I am staying there for business purposes while working in South Bend. Reasonable rates includes utilities and internet.
