Services
How likely is it that a sex offense will be repeated? Once a person commits a sex offense, the likelihood that it will be repeated is increased. Understanding how likely is a question that can be measured by scientific principles. Research regarding risk assessment, including with regard to sexual behavior, has grown exponentially in recent years.
A psychological assessment of mitigating factors is conducted prior to a defendant entering a plea or prior to sentencing. They assist the court in understanding the numerous multigenerational, biological, and environmental factors that have influenced the defendant's life experience and offer alternatives to prolonged sentences.
The Focused Assessment (FA) (formerly the Limited Family Assessment (LFA) is designed to address specific issues for which the court needs additional information. It is tailored to be a cost effective way to answer a limited number of issues. The court may only desire that the evaluator conducting a FA focus on one portion of ARS §25-403.
Department of Child Safety (DCS) psychological evaluations are conducted as a means to develop a comprehensive understanding of an individual's functioning, mental health, addictive behaviors, and parenting abilities.
An evaluation is completed in one or two appointments and entails a review of collateral documents provided by the referral source, a clinical interview with a licensed psychologist, and completion of empirically validated psychological assessments.A written report is produced upon completion of the evaluation and specifically addresses the referral questions delineated by DCS.

I'd give this man a zero if I could! First he traumatized my children. They still to this day have PTSD In regards to any therapists/ counselor because of him! During an evaluation the scariest thing is for a child to feel they could share something that would then be shared with the parent they had negative comments about! He made it clear anything they said would be shared with my exe husband leaving my children more than afraid to be honest.

I've been meaning to make this review for a while now and finally decided to do so. This place is a joke! I participated in a group that was extremely expensive, but ultimately reading a book. The woman leading the group (I forget her name) didn't really listen to what people were saying. You could tell she was checked out and there for a paycheck. Something that concerned me was when people discussed very specific situations. David Weinstock needs to retire. I can only urge any parent assigned this custody evaluator to immediately request another professional, especially if there is speculated or confirmed abuse going on. There was confirmed documented reports of my son's physical abuse while in the care of his mother and step-father. Weinstock completely disregarded CPS reports and even police reports. DR. W was Court appointed to my Divorce. You have to be honest and take accountability. Take a step back even when your soon to be EX isn't. I feel Dr. W made my kids a priority. As a Mom that is everything. I recognized what I was doing wrong and applied his suggestions and referrals. You have to trust the process. It is difficult & emotionally draining for both parties. My kids and I are moving on, growing & healing. I hope their father is too.

This was our second custody evaluation. Our first evaluation (we each paid 50% of the 6k evaluation) revealed that my abusive ex husband was manipulative and vindictive. Unfortunately I was only able to pay 10% of our evaluation (over 22k) and Weinstock made my minor problems look HUGE (I'm strict) and my ex's major problems (breaking my Order of Protection, kidnapping my daughter, screaming at me in front of my children, sexually assaulting me) he blew off/didn't contact witnesses/ minimized the behavior/blamed me for making my ex behave crazy.

My extremely difficult husband came here after going to just about every counselor or therapist we could find - he's that adult who had one of the worst childhoods you can imagine and has little patients for stupid counselors and will lie to them just to get the sessions over with bc he thinks their idiots... but wow... Dr Weinstock is the first person that was actually able to make a dent and help him!! He knows what he's talking about and if you can get over the cost (bc he is worth the money), it's totally worth every penny! I wish we could afford to go as much as possible.

I'm only giving her one star so it will weigh against her. She is the worse Arbitrator. The other party showed up high and with her boyfriend that beats her and the children. She refused to look at our paper trail. We had evidence against the other party but she refused to look at it. She believed the lies of the other party without verification. Her responses gave me and my attorney the impression that she had made her decision before we meet with her. Her decision was based on her biased only! She wouldn't listen to any discussion or evidence.

I agree with Marrie G. Dr. Weinstock is PHENOMENAL!! He was the only person in my 4 year custody battle that actually cared and thoroughly explored all information so that the truth finally came out. He saved my life!! My custody battle involved a drug addict that has never had a job with enabling parents who have a very large amount of money that enable him so much that they even put my daughter in harms way to cover up for him. He cannot even care for himself let alone have 50% custody of a child which the judge actually granted! As far as what he did for me compared to the attorneys involved

This place is a JOKE and complete waste of time! All FCE cares about is THE MONEY and your retainer. They treat you like a child and the email rules are absolutely ridiculous. The front office staff has the personality of a stump and the little man with a big ego is only there is collect his dough. This man has been our life saver. Everyday my ex and I face a challenge I would love to compromise over. It doesn't matter how much you want to find a compromise if both people don't have the same intention. Having an educated, honest, straight forward team member that will look at all the issues and consider ONLY the boys best interest is something I thank God for everyday. This "court appointed" PC doesn't deserve a single star. The divorce business here in our state is horrendous and I was glad to see him dismiss his pathetic service from my case. My son clearly saw the truth that dad was being "railroaded" by the team of Weinstock and court appointed therapist Dr Marty Keller.

This guy turned out to be the Parenting Coordinator my mother warned me about. He has demonstrated that he will take no action to reduce conflict or improve the situation. In fact, it is better if the situation gets worse because then you will need more of his ultra expensive services that produce no positive results. If your Judge tries to impose this corrupt PC upon your family go straight to the AZ Court of Appeals because that is where you will end up anyway. The sooner you can get rid of this guy, the less damage he can do to your kids.

On advice of former counsel I was referred to Forensic Counseling & Evaluations group lead by Dr. David Weinstock. The Intensive Family Therapy approach was recommended; a week long, three hours a day approach utilizing the entire staff of the team divided up to handle counseling of my entire family during a divorce proceeding, with the goal of speeding up the reconciliation to my children process. I was led to believe this was an approach tested and used in other strained family proceedings as a result of a divorce. What I learned after signing up was my family was the guinea pig family

Well I never got to see him because they DONT take insurance, I know a lot of them don't, but why? WHY is the question? Could it be because of the comment above me? People are down and out. They need help, and because DR's don't want to have to deal with paper trails just make it easier on themselves, and want straight cash. It saddens me that in order to get good, healthy feedback and help, you have to pay 150 to 200 a session. They are money hungry people, t here not out to help, they will deal with the rich and that's it! And it angers me! This is not just directed at Weinstock, my anger goes

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I'll make it short and sweet in our year experience with using this place for our parent coordinator. If you want a place that has a high turnover rate, is unprofessional, expensive and does not follow their own protocol then this is the place for you! This parent coordinator looks for any reason to not make a decision after meeting with him so he can find a reason to make you come back which is just more $$$$$ for him. I don't ever take the time for many reviews but I hope to save someone the same waste of money, headaches, etc.
